£1.99 for the knives, yes. But you also need to factor in the £9.99 postage charge

EDIT: If you close the tab after seeing the shipping cost, it asks if you really want to navigate away as there's a 33% discount on postage - and if you opt to stay on the page it redisplays with postage at £6.66

Thanks CW18 - I didn't even get that far on the website!! I was so set on getting a NSD I didn't even "Add to basket" :rotfl: :rotfl:

You lot are doing wonders for my bank balance and I thank you all very much :T:T:T:T

    An NSD dilemma...

If I'm calling unneccesary driving a spend (because of the petrol) then can I have an NSD if I gave a friend a lift but she gave me back my costs plus a bit? I have spent, but made a small profit which wasn't achievable without the spend. (She gave me £10 but it cost me around £8.80).

Does it break the rules? What does everyone think?
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

Hannah_10 : Your bank/purse balances haven't dropped because of the journey, so I wouldn't count it as a spend. It's just like me nipping to the shop to pick something up for a sick friend/neighbour who re-imburses me when I drop the stuff off :)

No NSDs this week so far, and still feeling carp :(.

I had to get a dotcom delivery yesterday as I am not very well atm. Unfortunately I forgot to get chocolate for DH's birthday cake for tomorrow! ..also need to get some nice meat from the butcher for his birthday tea. So have decided if I get these things today, I won't need to spend tomorrow :j I'll take DS with me so he can carry everything...still not great today.

I was supposed to be going out on a jaunt with a friend tomorrow too, with lunch out...so instead going to have her over here so we can have a natter, she can get out of her house and I don't spend :T. This sounds like a good plan. Will also put some money aside to post my bro's birthday pressie on Friday so I can keep it spend-free too :D.

Have a great day all x

  • Today makes NSD 8 :D I feel back on track now, still have 10 to go, but that is achievable now.....:j Tomorrow is spendy but I am thinking really hard about what I need for the rest of the week so I can get it all tomorrow thus saving potential NSDs :)

I might even go and get some liquid gold, even though I don't need any, just in case ;)

Hope everyone is well, it seems quiet on here today x

I messed up today and yesterday. Still on 4 NSD's sadly :(. Way I see it is that is tons better than before. You're all giving me such strength and inspiration on the board. I am spending far less despite the massive fee payout this month!!!

I've been AWOL for a couple of weeks and have done really badly with this challenge this month - only on 3 days.

None of it's major stuff though, I just don't seem to be able to spend things on the same day - like last week Monday rehearsal so tea out, rehearsal fee and got petrol. Then Tuesday went food shopping, Wednesday was killing time whilst OH was somewhere and was near Dunelm Mill and a friend had said they had the cushion pads I wanted, which they did, Thursday was a NSD and Friday we had the car MOT'd and I bought myself lunch as a treat. So nothing excessive there apart from the lunch - just working full time and doing lots of other things too I find I'm spending on lots of different days.

Can't do a lot about that though atm, just a bit frustrating as like today, because I'm going out tonight I've bought a bar of chocolate at work because I know it's not going to be a NSD.

So 3 days to declare so far
