Declaring yesterday as a NSD and today so that brings me up to 9 NSDs :j

Date News: It went very well ;) A really nice guy with a wicked sense of humour and cheeky side - also helps he's a right hunk hubba hubba :rotfl:Shall be seeing him again sometime midweek

Here's to some more NSDs everyone

Glad the date went well... do we need to factor in hat's yet to our NSD challenge ;) :rotfl:

Definitely! The thought's just to horrible. Home watching a movie instead. Popcorn is on the banned list though ;).

Just back from shop so not a NSD but very worthwhile. Lunches for both of us are now sorted for the week. Going to take a friend's tip and make up the rolls and freeze them then just take them out in the morning. that's where it currently goes wrong and I end up having to buy lunch too often. Also got a good very good deal on coffee at As*a to keep MiL going (it's all she'll drink :() and dishwasher tabs - enough to last 2 months for £3!:D Have also unearthed the coffee pod machine from the loft and worked out I can cobble together a reasonable latte to take in the morning for about 30p! Much better than £2 ish at Cos*a!:) Hoping that will keep me out of the shops Monday -Friday next week. :p

Well done on sorting the lunches. My friends mum used to make sarnies on a sun and freeze for the week when we were at school but I've never tried it - I'm not sure I'd like to freeze some of our fillings like egg, tuna and salad??

BDINI - that paint brush will be well and truly dried out now, I'm reporting NSD #4! :j Took OH car to the car wash to get that cleaned but he gave me the money for that (or rather I said 'I'll take your car and get it done with the £4.50 offer but I need £4.50 for it :rotfl: and he also gave me the money for mine yeaterday - ahhhh!)

Apart from that been catching up on housework, bathroom and downstairs toilet cleaned (my least fav job as I hate the bathroom we have), floors swept, floors washed and chips on for dinner (yes, my home made ones again...told you I'd made a rod for my own back there), oh and kits litter tray washed and drying.

Ironing to do later (threatening to fall out of the airing cupboard and bury someone in a linin avalanche soon ) and a few other bits on the 'to do' list but they might have to wait until tomorrow.

Brows need threading again but might wait until tues to get those done - and thus clock up another NSD tomorrow (or might see if OH will treat me since I've been such a Mary Poppins today while he's been watching the footie :A)

Finally managed to net myself NSD #4 today :)

This month sooooo isn't going to plan, with small spends (up to a couple of quid) each day - though yesterday was considerably more as it included almost £40 on liquid gold (after using a 5p off each litre voucher I got a couple of weeks back that I had to use by yesterday), and the fuel tank wasn't much under the half way marker on the gauge

18 days left in the month, and I still need 8 NSDs to hit target. Not sure if this is going to be helped or hindered by the fact I may be 'car-less' for a week or so (have offered to put a friend on my insurance and lend it to him, as he may be losing his company vehicle tomorrow and his Mum is critically ill in hospital a 40 minute drive - or 4.5 hours on public transport - from where he lives), which means if I need to go further afield than I currently see myself needing to until 3rd April I'll have to use public transport - but it also means I'll probably do my best not to make those journeys, so while any such trips will mean paying bus fares they'll also be kept to an absolute minimum rather than being made just because I feel like getting away from the house......

Well today wasn't an NSD as I paid for bus fare for me and OH to get to my dads. I also ended up giving in to temptation and bought a really cute cupcake pastry board... oh dear!

Dad and OH compared the broken engine with the one that was in the spare car, but no joy... it's not going to fit so going to have to buy a new engine... gonna set me back another few hundred at some point this week then :(

NSD No. 3 for me. Better than usual. Will try for another on Tuesday.

Cheryl don't be too hard on yourself. It's good that you are aiming for a target but don't you think it is FANTASTIC that you are helping a friend out. How many people would do what you are doing even for a friend.

Sorry to hear that - it's great that at least your dad and OH were able to try and see if the spare car engine would fit - very MSE!

I have a food shop to do, and must catch up with a friend, so will hopefully do both tomorrow

I managed to put off the food shop this weekend and did not spend a single penny when catching up with friend, so 2 more NSDs clocked up this weekend, bringing my running total up 12 NSDs! Woo hoo!

Have a good week everyone and good luck collecting more NSDs! sunshine-012.gif
