Marching on in March - The NSD Challenge

Declaring #6 a nice sunny afternoon here.£71.93/ £180.000

I've been meal planning and batch cooking today to use up what I have in before it goes off. Lamb curry and beef and mushroom pie made all good!
NSD today which wasn't planned but feel too run down to go out far so declaring it NSD 7 instead!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Waaaaaahhh! Discovered yesterday that my bank balamce online is £15.97 less than in my little accounts book. Tracking back through the book comparing items with the online statement, I have just discovered that when I got paid I transferred £95 to another account (the car tax fund!) to repay some borrowing - BUT I forgot to write it in my book. And the water rates bill of £79.03 has not been debited yet (most likely due tomorrow). Between the two numbers is my mystery discrepancy of £15.97. So all my careful accounting has gone down the Swanee, I have got something stupid like £12 left to spend until I can get other funds transferred in, which will take a few days. Waahhh! Bowlocks! Rats! Rats! Rats! Wot a plonker!
Needless to say, one is not a happy Nargle. One life - your life - live it!0 -
NSD no. 7 for me... not sure I will do any continuous NSD's at this rate but there is always hoping!Well lets see - I dip in and out of MSE all the time but I still come back - have done since 2007!!!

I didn't think I'd manage yesterday, but have managed an NSD yesterday and today. (I realised that I had enough fruit to keep me going over the weekend...).Almost up to halfway for March.:)0

Oh Nargle, that's pants. That kind of thing has happened to me before and always leaves me feeling grrrrr. It doesn't happen often tho, so don't be too hard on yourself.
They did a diet programme a while back when people had to keep track of everything they ate, and they found that most people under recorded by about a third of the calories they actually ate. So forgetting just one money transaction is nothing by comparison. Amazing we aren't all under-declaring all the time :rotfl:
I've had a bit of a spendy day - nothing too bad: needed to get supplies in for lunchboxes and a few general bits and pieces. Need to do a bit of meal planning before I go anywhere near shops again as I've lost track of what needs using up again :eek:Official DFW nerd 187 :T Highest debt Oct 06 £23,319 _pale_ Cleared end 09. :T
Student again now and trying to fight the debts that are creeping up again :eek:0 -

Well done to everyone who's managed a NSD this weekend. I haven't managed a NSD either day, and what with the cost of my 'cheap' new spec frames  that ended up costing double once the hidden extras were factored in, I'm a little worse for wear! (Just hope I still like the ones I chose when I collect them next Sat!!!).
Please don't despair those who've had little blips. At least we're all thinking about our spending, even if we can't always stop doing it when we'd like.
Hope everyone who's poorly gets better soon.
Off to prep for my job interview on Wed....:eek:0 -
Hi everyone,
Been a bit AWOL with the MSE stuff, but would just like to drop in and report 3 definite NSDs so far
