Cheryl don't be too hard on yourself. It's good that you are aiming for a target but don't you think it is FANTASTIC that you are helping a friend out. How many people would do what you are doing even for a friend.

I agree with Butti - you are an angel! :A

It just seems so stupid/selfish to have a vehicle sitting around on my drive when someone I know (and trust) could be in desperate need of wheels. I don't actually use it very often with work being within walking distance, and it's been known to sit for 3 weeks at a time.... when I went to head out to DDs on Saturday there was one horrible moment when I thought it wasn't going to start due to one of these extended periods on non-use  I currently have a (not needed any longer) named driver on my policy, and playing on-line indicates that simply changing who that is won't make any/much difference to my premium as long as my friend doesn't have any points/medical conditions that need declaring....

    Good morning all!
Reporting #7 today -no spends Sat or Sun, havent managed that for a while!:T Didnt do much yesterday, made my fudge to take into work tomorrow, its all bagged up and looking pretty in the fridge. OH finished the painting of the kitchen and bathroom so today Im off to "source" some bathroom accesories as mine are a wee bit tired!
Have a day off today, and yes, it's pouring rain and blowing a gale. however, I just need some time out to myself - here's why:

All you cat lovers/owners - I am appealing for help!
I have a bit of dilemma re my cat. A few weeks ago he was diagnosed with cystitis and after treatment and a change of diet he is absolutely fine. However, he has taken to using inappropriate places as a toilet. I've tried everything I can think of to divert him, but to no avail! I am at the end of my tether, as this has been going on for weeks. I am VERY tired of coming down in the morning to a mess! If any of you have any ideas please feel free to PM me!
I am seriously thinking of getting him rehomed - its that bad! OH is not a catlover and we end up having "words" about it, so that aint good either!
Sorry for the off topic rant!

    Have a lovely day everyone!:)

I realise I'm a bit late on this but I would like to join this for this month. I'd like to try 13 NSDs this month (on 3 so far but I am an optimist - today may well be a NSD but I am assuming it will be a LSD!)

Claiming NSD no 8 . Have been to town and only used my no7 vouchers (got a cleaning sponge and some foundation sponges) but all free! Put money in the bank and only left enough for swimming tomorrow and probably Wednesday :D
    ** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **
    ** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
    **SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.
  • NSD 6 for me on Friday :j

Very spendy weekend though, had to get petrol Saturday (checked my receipt from a month ago - increased by 3p a litre since then ) and then went out for dinner yesterday, and I had offered to pay!

I'm hoping I can get through this week until Saturday without spending much. I have planned what I will eat, so won't need to venture into another evil supermarket, and then off to a farmers market Saturday once I've made a meal plan for next week. Hopefully will get 3 if not 4 more NSDs before Sunday.
