ANOTHER NSD FOR ME BORROWED MONEY FOR LECCY METER FOR WEEKEND

THANKS LittleMissHappy spoke to a man at cccs and although he was nice and helpfull i'm more confused than before so i went for a walk to try and clear my head and ended up at my daughters took me 40 mins ( its only 5 mins in a car)i'm so slow anyhow she helped me to cancel the sky and internet 30 days notice they tried to get me to stay but i didnt give in so i might not be on very much depends on a few things bt doing a special offer unlimited bb for £10 amth snag its an 18 mth contract with security too but 18mths is a long time i might wait til i get my budget back on track and can always use dongle for now seeing as i got it working again :D who says i'm too old to learn new stuff? rest of day ****
one thing i don't get is i was told i'm not spending enough on food he said £189 for 1 adult and 1 child per month?? even if i wasnt in debt i wouldn't have that left if i paid everything properly and he was going on about birthdays and xmas then hairdressers wth I OWE ABOUT £8000 GIVE OR TAKE WHY WOULD I WANT TO WASTE MONEY I DON'T HAVE NO MENTION OF CLOTHING BUDGET,I'D RATHER BE WARM THAN HAVE NICE HAIR VERY STRANGE( MAN )IYSWIM
Not a problem though as i only wear jeans and t shirts and jumpers mens ones usually cos they fit better and cheaper see i don't cost a lot it's everything else that costs and kids don't help no matter how much i say we have no money they just don't listen once i said if they can make the money stretch further they are welcome to try, no offers so i think i won that one time the only thing that seems to be going ok is my nsds mind you i feel like a cheat after all if you aint got it you caint spend it
Sorry for long post again i'm on my own and just can't sort it out and my head feels like it gona explode just need to get it sorted but not sure how

    Hi mm7
Have you thought about starting a thread on here asking for help/advice. There are so many helpful people on here willing to help and it might just give you some ideas and hints?

There are links to an SOA you can do to help sort out your situation on paper so you can look at it objectively - you don't have to post it on here but it may help you to see everything in black and white.

You're heading in the right direction but, from what I've seen during the time I've been on MSE, another person's objective advice does seem to help.

    Take care

Well I had a horrible, horrible day at work on Thursday which resulted in the following:
    10 cigarettes
    5 gin and tonics

    And then on Friday:
    1 hangover
    1 restorative sausage roll
    1 sainsbury's lunch meal deal

Urgh! I knew I was an emotional spender (which is what the lunch was about, I had a pack lunch I just didn't "feel" like having the thing I'd brought with me, so I'm quite annoyed with myself for that) but the drinking to forget a work day in really not me, and indicative of how down the job is getting me at the moment.

So no NSD to report, but still 6 days in the month and 4 NSD to find. And I'm determined not to let my @***h*** boss affect me like that.

I have some errands to run tomorrow, but hoping to get a NSD on Sunday. And will be spending some of the weekend working on my CV ;)

((((hugs)))) karma-chi, we've all been there (well not g&t for me, I can't stand gin:D), bought the T-shirt and had the hangover the day after.

Don't let 'em get to you, you should set up a support network with BDINI both of you are in the same boat atm.

We're here if you need to rant, need a hug, some support or a kick up the bum.

    Take care

THANKS SPOON for taking the time to help you don't even know me i tried to write everything down on paper but it never seems to work, an SOA not sure i'd know how to do it but i'll give it a go how do i find it ?thanks

I wouldn't have a clue how to start a thread it takes me ages just to post on here

It's so annnoying that i have had to ask for help when my kids won't accept that the problem is them not accepting that there is no money for what they want and because of my sons problems i get the blame for everything even his sore throat even though it's cos he's a smoker

It would be nice if they help to sort it out by not assuming everything i buy has to be eaten that day i even tried not getting as much and that made things worse it was much easier to do a budget when they were small home made cakes we did all the time cottage pies, hot pot, but anything that makes the budget go further now no they say it will make them ill if it is 1 day before best by date its annoying cos i wouldn't give them anything that would make them ill they don't eat normal sons food phobic and daughter well you get it always wanting to be slimmer than she is she already thin enough just feels like i'm banging my head against a wall thanks again

No NSD for me. Another disaster. *Long sigh*

Do we still have wacky days out? I definately feel the need for one. How is Hubert these days anyway?

Do you know, Hannah, that's a great idea, I think we all deserve one of our outings involving dodgy food prepared and served by the lovely Igor, sorting out Hubert's rear end and a spin in the Tardis:D:D

Where shall we go and when, any ideas anyone? The Tardis is having a spring clean this weekend and maybe a lick of paint so it will be ready when you are. :D:D

    Hi mm7
Really sorry if I'm speaking out of turn here but I think your kids may need to see things down in black and white, it may give them the reality check they need.

Before I get told off by the powers that be for going off topic on here, you post a new thread by clicking on the "new thread" button at the top left of of the DFW main page - where you see all the threads listed. Maybe take some time to write down some thoughts and questions, read some of the other threads and some of the advice offered - there are loads of newbies posting at the moment asking similar questions to the ones you'll doubtless ask. Don't forget to add a title to the thread, something catchy - like "newbie desperate for help" will catch people's eyes.

There is a link to doing an SOA, once you get your thread up and running someone will post a link for you, it's supposed to be easy to do but I haven't done one so can't comment on that.

You will get loads of help on here, just ask away. If I can help any more, please feel free to PM me - we really will get told off if I post any more on here now..

Take care and really hope this helps.

PS: I don't think it really matters how muddled your first post is, keep it short would be my advice though. If you post it over the weekend, a lot of the regulars aren't around so don't be disheartened if you don't get so many replies. x

    Hi everyone
Moving swiftly back on topic before I get thrown off here:o:o:o

Nos 16 and 17 to declare for me please, BDINI.

I've finally caught up on the week's posts and will post some replies tomorrow. It's been another long day today though so I'm logging off now.

Huge ((((hugs)))) to anyone needing one (and there are a few of you here at the moment).

    'night everyone

:j:j Hannah_10 – well done for 5, & yes an outing sounds like a great idea, I think we could all do with a good night out!!

:j:j muffin man 7 – well done for 19. Try not to worry too much about CCCS, I think they allow you more than you budget for so that you don’t have to struggle quite so much, Spoon has given you some great advice, I do hope it has helped?

    And hello to:

kerri gt – go on, we’ll let you claim an NSD, seeing as you already had the cash… & it does sound like you grabbed a real bargain!!

jintyb – the voucher scheme at work sounds great & all those little saving will add up over a year, very MSE :money: Your right I’d noticed we hadn’t seen Cheryl for a while, I do hope it’s because she’s loved up with her new man!

LittleMissHappy – I can’t resist a bargain either, but as long as you reduce your grocery budget accordingly when the offer’’s over I think it’s a great way of getting more for your money!!

BigMummaF – Well done for resisting running off from the supermarket!! :rotfl::rotfl:

karmachilovething – ((((((((((((((huge hugs))))))))))))))) for your bad day at work

bottleofred – good luck catching those NSD’s this weekend!

ifwisheswerehorses... – thanks for posting the links, that’s stopped me scratching my head & wondering how on earth I would do it!! :D

Karma, i wish i could give you some great advice, going through something similar myself, but my way of dealing with it seems to be almost identical to yours!
All i can say is hang on in there & rant away on here whenever you want, everyone is so supportive & always think it's better out than kept inside where it drives you mad!!
I know it's a stupid question with the economy the way it is, but are there any other jobs around that you can apply for?
(((((((((((((((((((((((huge hugs)))))))))))))))))))))))) try & have a good weekend away from it all!! xxx
