Hi all NSD 12. After 2 spendy days i am back on track nsd today. MUst remember to remember things in future but a busy weekend ahead of decluttering and sorting am starting to feel dragged down by the about of clutter we have, need to get moving and sort through it. Hopefully i will be able to get some ebay fodder to make some money and clear my debts.#Sealed pot #085.

Hi all
Just wanted to give HUGS all around as it would seem March has been a particularly horrible month emotionally for a few of us! I have changed my signature to reflect a mantra that is helping me through this crazy month both at work and at home! Maybe for those in the same boat it will give you that different perspective that is sometimes all that is needed.
Back on topic - my NSD count has been nothing like February but I am still making progress towards my target!
Declaring 16 NSD
I wish everyone a really lovely weekend and a much better April!
:cool:Well lets see - I dip in and out of MSE all the time but I still come back - have done since 2007!!!

I have grown children still at home too & often get the reactions to meal times as you seem to. One gets ratty if we have chicken too often, as in roast one day, cold the next & the bits thrown into a casserole for the third. Another won't go near anything past best by & one doesn't eat things like milk puddings, custard or gravy, all the things that help meals go further!
So chin up m'dear; you are most definitely NOT alone in all of this. ((HUGS)) & hope you start to see the light at the end of this particular tunnel very, very soon x
Morning Peeps. Just to add, I've reached target by getting no 17 yesterday. I'm currently trying to resist an urge to grab my coat & head for L1dl to replenish the fruit bowl; there's only one pear & two bananas keeping the 7 apples & 5 clems companyso I'll have to see how the day pans out before saying any more
Perhaps we could have an outing this evening to watch the clocks change all over the world! Not sure what famous ones there are other than Bi8 B€n but there must be some

Hope you have a good weekend and can forget about work for a couple of days. Really sorry about all the carp you've had to put up with this week job-wise but glad your boss is being supportive of you now and hope you can make it work there for you.

I love your new signature, wit40iwtwan. You're right, we do all have options but sometimes they're just not apparent when we're going through a crisis.
I'm really sorry about all the problems you've had during March, you've had a pretty bad month of it all round, hope April is much better for you.
Take care

Wow, where did the last 2 weeks go?! I'll have no chance of catching up on all the posts, so I hope everyone is ok.
I've had a busy time at work & have been too tired to log on. But I've had bursts of NSDs along the way so now am at NSD # 14 - just 1 left to go, so I may even get to increase my target this month...
One thing I have started doing is setting myself a monthly spend target for the things included in my NSDs (ie excluding DDs & work petrol) because although the NSDs has helped a lot, I am still going a little crazy on the days I do spend.
One of my impulse buys this month was a slow cooker from MrT at just £12 for a 3.3litre. But in theory this will help save money in the long term, I hope! I'll be browsing the old-style boards for recipe inspiration shortly!
We are off on hols for a week in a caravan in a couple of weeks, so I've factored in spending money budget - in the past I've gone crazy on holiday spending (both before & during) so want to keep control this year.:A0 -
And I'm now up to #14£71.93/ £180.000
