Is it just me or is the Vodafone one a bit of a con?
You put it in your house, plug it into your own bloody internet connection and instead of routing your phone calls over the mobile network they are sent over your own broadband line and across the internet to vodafone.
Despite this they still charge you full price for both calls and 3G data even though you are providing, and paying for, part of the infrastructure used to provide that service, and it's all going over a landline effectively.
It just winds me up in principle, so I refuse to buy one. I went with O2 in the end who can provide signal to 90% of my house.0 -
