    Not really ISA switched on
Have ISA 3 with Halifax I am looking at changing to 4.
My question is I still have some allowance left for this year if I re -designate to 4 now can I still put money in for this year or do I have to wait till April?

    Sorry to be so dim.

Yes you will be able to. Well should be anyway.

    You can, definitely.

It remains exactly the same account - the sort code and account number will stay the same. All that changes is the interest rate.

If the ISA had not been re-designated it would have been transferred (internally) so contributions up to the current year's ISA limit would be allowed.

I called up on Monday to change from Reward 3 to Reward 4 and now on Internet banking it shows up as ISA Saver @ 0.10%, is this normal? Has this happened to anyone else??!?

Mine is showing similarly, but the interest rate is given as 0.2%. Very strange.

And I phoned on Sunday to re-designate, so it is taking a long time.

Same here. Re-designated on Sunday, and the interest rate is showing as 0.2%.

Hi, how are people viewing the interest rates of the account via the online banking?

    Thanks in advance

Click on the account, then click on the plus button near the top under the account name that says "View interest rate and account details"
