    Just got in from camera club. We had an internal fun comp. with the subject of 'Macro shots', there were some amazing shots. Will have to wait til after cataract op to start taking those though as you have to use extension tubes between the lens and the camera and that means manual focus, or with cats, 'Well it looked sharp to me'.

    Spent this afternoon cutting my parents lawn (or rather scalping it as the mower got accidentally put on its lowest setting when it was being put away). Lawn now looks like the somme after intense shelling.

    Hi aesop - ive abandoned everest :-(
    it was just too time consuming.

    I feel a bit thick around all these people with degrees!

    oh puddings :( don't feel thick. I don't have a degree. You don't need to have an ology to be clever you know!

    and so what if you abandoned everest. You did flaming well! In fact you have inspired me to walk up and down my stairs! I need to lose flaming weight! and sitting on my backside ain't going to help!
