A long day at work and now i have escaped so am happy. I am tempted to go and chill in front of telly.

You've got a much longer day tomorrow Kit, so an evening relaxing might just be the thing to do :D Is there anything special on TV tonight?

Hiya Beanie - I've had a busy day sitting around waiting for my friend getting her tests at the hospital - read a good housekeeping or house styling magazine while I waited - just who has rooms and gardens the size of those they have in those mags???? They tell you what to do with a small room or small garden, but don't know what small is     And you can't use much of their ideas, which I admit look amazing, if you actually want to live a life in the house - they are spotless and lovely but don't look lived in at all - couldn't keep those cream carpets clean, especially with our 3 doggies

How has your day been Beanie?

Vix, sorry, I have been dipping in and out of thread, and didn't realise your Dad has alzheimers (sp). There is a lot of help out there, like 3Dogs said, carers support, groups, respite care, etc.

do you want some links? can have a look later for you xx

    stop putting yourself down TWIN!

you do have a life, and you are NOT an idiot.

You work blooming hard teaching those students of yours so they get good grades and your tutees, and then you are a wonderful friend to your friends, and you are busy wandering around the UK meeting all the MSERs, you have become a great moneysaver :D

you cheer up everyone when they are feeling down.

How dare you say you have no life! You are one busy woman! No wonder you are tired! Go watch mindless carp on tv, a good comedy, rest and relax mwah xxxxx

We all want to be like someone else Kit - you know, the grass is always greener ........, but better the devil you know than the devil you don't ................. what you think of as normal is not the same as others may think ................. there is in fact no such thing as normal as the very word is dependant on who is considering it, or defining it
