Mine are going up on the first too if I can persuade DH to get cracking. We won't buy the tree until the week before christmas though. I can't wait and I make a bigger deal of christmas every year. As the kids get older I get younger I think :D

I started putting mine up this weekend well the outside lights but they wont get turned on till the first then I need to do the inside lights, then the banners etc will be going up then the tree will go up on the first of decemeber and as its my first chistmas with my partner Shes going to be putting the star on top of tree as shes had a rough year this year, She left home to move in with me (a good 4hrs away) And shes also been in hospital twice so it will give her something to lift herself up a bit.
