Autoquake reviews

The last thing I would ever want to do is upset a civil servant.
It just seemed a remarkable coincidence.
But I must disagree with your belief that it's "buyer beware" when buying a used car. The laws that protect consumers in this country are amongst the toughest in the world. If a car is not as described, or contains faults at point of purchase, you see a solicitor and get your money back, or obtain full compensation. That's what I did with Autoquake.0 -

Agreed.
There is still a culture of dodgy trading when it comes to used cars, even from main dealers. Something that the consumer laws have helped with but unfortunately failed to completely eradicate
Still too many of these types - even as I said at main dealers.....

Typical posting from the tire kicker fraternity, them who go to depots just to waste the staff time and are not READY to BUY. I've bought a car off of Autoquake, a nice Audi M3 it was, and then another one too, a nice little Puegot for my girlfriend. In both cases the process was seamless, hassle-free and straightforward, a real pleasure basically from the forty reliable plus pics on the website to handing over the money and just driving away. Everything as described, right down to the fag burn on the back seat. No probs at all, and lots of interest I CAN TELL YOU in the QUAKE sticker on my tailgate from neighbours and other motorists alike.
Did I mind going from Exeter to Leeds? NO! Because I had a transaction at £3700 below dealer mark-up and knowing the trade as I do that is GOOD.
Problem is that some people just don't GET e commerce and that's why we get bad reviews on here and other places too. But my experience was faultless, a real pleasure and hassle-free, and the 7 day no quibble gurantee allayed my inishilal initial concerns about buying off of the web.
I would recomend unswervingly with utmost pleasure to friends and family alike, and will be going back to the QUAKE team for my next vehicle.0 -
"...that's why we get bad reviews " isn't that too too obvious? Sort of a red red herring? A poor attempt to make people think you are working for the company when you secretly hate them and wish total destruction upon them? A sort of terrible retribution for some perceived slight? Any real reviews? Not reviews from stooges or people pretending to be stooges?0

Oh dear. The pair of cars you bought has changed again. You need to keep better records of which fake forum ID bought which cars!0 -

I never realized that Audi and Bmw ever built a car together.:eek:0 -
So let me get this straight...according to the obvious AQ poster named JiminyScotty, now we have stooges (who are pro AQ)and also people pretending to be stooges (who appear to be pro AQ but are in fact anti AQ) who are motivated by what AQ believe to be "a perceived slight."
This is getting even more complicated than the AQ ordering process!
But thanks for confirming that you do use stooges...DUH!0 -
I'm quite insulted Alcan, I asked you a question and you respond with an insulting response, I could say a tin foil hat style response! If a company was going to post a positive review wouldn't it be well written and at least use a car that exists? Anyway, can some one please post a genuine review? What was wrong with the service or the car? I suppose I culd bite the bullet and call them but on a 0844 number! I am a cheap cheapskate afterall that's why I looked at their site. Now, Alcan please be kind and retract the insult.0

Ok....let me get this clear in my mind...there are these fake reviews written by real stooges, then there are fake "fake" reviews written by fake stooges (the fake stooges hate AQ and "wish total destruction" apparently). But if someone points out that a review is written by a fake stooge (as opposed to the fake fake stooges) then he is wearing a tinfoil hat and the first fake stooge (are you following this, everyone?) gets offended.
For crying out loud, AQ team, could you make this any more complicated??
And you're surprised that you have a bad reputation??0
