Yes, indeed! I'm just trying to have an open discussion about Autoquake without all the spamming and AQ weirdness. The other thread has been closed, presumably because of all the spam.
Any feedback on AQ - just post it here!0 -
I bought a 2005 55 plate Mondeo last May from them, picked it up at the Westbury depot (which sadly isnt there anymore). No problems at all, no pressure to buy while looking around the car, it was in fantastic condition and completely as described. It did seem a bit odd at first having to put £100 down sight unseen but i would use them again if they have the right car. The car has done 17k since ive had it and not missed a beat, just the usual service and mot, not even had to replace the tyres yet!0

camelot1971 - that is an absolute classic, thank you. There's no point trying to parody you, because you've already done it.
Please give my regards to Dermott and everyone else at Autoquake.0 -

I have purchased from Autoquake in October 2010. I have put my experience on the original thread that was first posted.
My advice buying from them is to get the car checked out after purchasing from them and raise any issues that crop up. Any dealer that claims to go a 100 odd point check I would be very vary off. In my case the break discs and pads were worn down to the minimum thickness. I emailed Autoquake complaining about this and they rang me back after 10 minutes of sending the email and told me to take the car to Halfords Autocentre to get it sorted. Which they did. (Replacement brake pads and discs)
I have claimed off the extended warranty which i purchased from Autoquake. One for some front heated windscreen heating elements appeared to be failed so it it clearing some of the screen. So a replacement was needed and a replacement thermostat as the plastic housing cracked (apparently a common problem with the ford fiesta) . Both times I didnt have a problem in getting the car sorted.
Im not a Autoquake stooge but I thought it might be benefical to other people to share my experience of buying from them.
Since then my car has been running fine maybe I been lucky with my experience from Autoquake0
