Halifax online banking new website opinions?

I dislike it also. God awful change.
I have several payments coming into the account each month. I used to be able to select an option where I could see only payments paid in, so it was easy and quick to see if they had arrived on time. I can't do that now. Or at least I can't find an option to do that.
I also dislike the confirmation page after trying to send money via the FPS, if you are in a hurry you could easily miss the 'sorry we cant send via FP at this time' message as the text does not stand out.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Its a but annoying that they went with large font, if you have a few accounts it used to be easy to see it all in one window. And those large images next to each account type is of no use to me at all.0

I like it. Different, but still OK. I have no problems with it.0

I don't mind it either.
A couple of wee niggles but you can't please all of the people, etc, etc.
I like the wee pigs too!
(Don't like the great big pound sign denotating loan quite so much!)

Been using the site for years and have just ran along with the many changes, I agree with an earlier post that i miss the option to be able to sort transactions into types ie paid in, cheques etc.
My main bug bear this week was not being able to find the link to "contact us" when I need to speak to someone urgently0 -
I think it's worth quoting Halifax on this one:-Halifax wrote:As part of a major investment in online banking we're making some changes so the site is even more secure and easier to use. In order to deliver the new site some services have changed or aren’t available. We plan to bring many of these back over the next 18 months, and as our new site develops we will also introduce a number of new features and services such as mobile banking.
Now, I'm afraid the aesthetic changes are here to stay, but keep in mind (as Halifax suggest), much of the functionality has been stripped back to allow them to migrate the system over to Lloyds TSB's online banking.
Personally, I quite like the design, although Bank of Scotland's version is a lot less "Mickey Mouse" than Halifax's. Functionality wise, this can (and most likely will) improve. I won't be completely happy until I get my paper-free credit card statements back.
It's also worth noting you can let them know about your gripes by e-mailing them or shouting at them on Twitter. That's the first time I've noticed they have a Twitter (they've kept that quiet), but I sent feedback via e-mail and got the generic "thanks for your feedback, we'll pass it on, blah, blah, blah." They've even got an official representative on MSE, so hopefully they are already taking note of the replies on threads such as this one.Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.0 -

I assume the functionality is identical.
I just tried this. Only difference between my usual Halifax page and this BoS page is the missing pigs. (My Halifax page has little pigs as an icon beside my savings accounts whilst the BoS page has flags.) Other than that, they are both the same.
I prefer the pigs.Herman - MP for all!0 -
I don't like the new set up either. For me its harder to navigate and find where to do things. With the old system it was all there on the screen with no colourful useless pigs distracting you!!
what a shame.£2019 in 2019 #44 - 864.06/20190
