LOL sorry Ill put it in non techie. Basically yes the HD camera is being fixed plans are to have it fixed within 4 weeks. but the recorder itself is still a gem. Probably oneo f ht best on the market to be honest.

Met have always bought off DCS. I know this for a fact I now know who David horn is and he tells a lot of porkies it seems after speaking with the MD of DCS I would be inclined to ditch David and speak to ED from Dog cam... He has direct links with Lawmate and have been working on this cable -- actually testing the new cables as well. DCS is the biggest importer and supplier to MS companies of theEvos and the PV1000s.

Mr. Horn seems to make this claim but Ive seen the PO and spoken to the various agencies DCS has sold to. I cant recommend them enough. Despite the inital issues I had with the PV500 which was the camera not the recorders fault I will say that DCS fixed it quickly and with out question.

Oh and you can record in various qualities even with out the HD camera and TBH it looks HD!

    Thanks for the clarification.
I ditched David Horn about 5 years ago from a kit purchase point of view (that was back in the day when we had to have camcorders strapped around the waist, and two ft of trailing wires!) - I just drop in every so often to take a sneaky peak at the latest surveillance kit that isn't available to the general public (as a kid I always wanted to be James Bond but this is the closest I'll ever get, and as DH is a huge show off he loves showing me what I can't have!)
The only reason I don't use DogCam is cost - they're so much more expensive than the supplier I use. Have only dealt with Ed via email, but always found Mark very helpful on the phone in the past.
If it weren't for mystery shopping I would never have discovered the joy of launch control.

I have a bookies for RE that had to be done between Friday and today, it is in a town a few miles away that I pass through all the time. When I applied for the job I put down Friday to do it and then changed it to Saturday when I worked out a schedule of what I was doing.

Yesterday I had quite a few other jobs to do and lost the motivation to stand around for 15 minutes with the big "mystery shopper" sign over my head so decided to leave the job till today. However when I went in to my account to move the due date to today I got an error message saying I can not move it as I have already moved it once

I have emailed RE but not heard anything, the question is do I do the job today and hope they pay me for it??

If it suits you do to it today then I would do it, and ring first thing in the morning. I have done this before and they have changed the date so that I can enter it.

If you are passing through all the time, the other option may be to ring first thing tomorrow and ask them to change it to another date for you.

Am currently sitting in the cafe of a GR supermarket. I cannot wait to write about my experience. Although I don't think the 255 characters GR give you to write it up will do this visit justice. The last time I experienced service quite line this was at Southwaite services on the M6 in the mid 1990's

I think he is saying the service is really bad, not quiet.

Speaking of quiet supermarkets, Late on Friday night was a doddle to do a checkout audit, most tills closed and counting the customers was really easy.;)

You can accept it, but don't shop it. Email the allocator on the job notes and explain that the job was released and you have picked it up late on on the last fieldwork date and that you need to know when it is to be done. I've done this a few times and never had a problem. As it's the weekend message them on the contact us part of the site as sometimes Jazmyn is in on a Sunday and she might change the date for you.

If you are going to do this make sure you accept it before midnight as after that you won't be able to accept and will have to give them a call.

    Thank you :)

Did two bookie jobs today - 2nd one my horse won (i know the trainer!) and i think i might have been cheering it on as a guy came up to talk to me (just a general chat) and had gathered i'd backed the winner - whoops. Start a new full time job tomorrow so might knock the MS on the head as my last RE job i got THREE tickets on it over stupid silly things - think the proof reader must have been trying to increase her bonus!

You should just seehow it goes whn you start your new job rather than deciding in advance to just knock it on the head.
But take it as nice to knw you don't *need* to do it so can be much moe picky and choosy!
