I have a 3 pin plug adapter for my car, much more useful! Cost me £15 or so in a motorway service station a few years ago. They didn't stock my type of phone car charger and I had my normal charger on me, perfect solution!

Just done my first burger Gapbuster. I am such an idiot, I was so focused on getting the times right, that when I got to my table, I noticed I had no receipt. Argh, I feel bad.

Should I ask Gapbuster if I can do it again?

I know there was chat about this when the emails went out. Did most people think it was worth the bother? Last day to do the test is today.

Gap generally say 3 strikes and your out...so i would submit it and remember to get 1 next time you do a burger job. if they deign to reply to your email and get you to do it again it would not be worth your while for the fee having had to fork out for 2 meals. Also you could have gone back to the counter and asked for 1 saying you had forgotten and need it for "work"

I had an italian bros' meal last night. Expecting some serious comeback on this.

We waited half and hour even though there were empty tables that were not being use and ones that had been left and not cleared yet.

Not asked if we wanted drinks but starter came quick as did the main course. Asked for drinks when this arrived and started nibbling at my food. Took a bite of my chicken and thought, that aint right. Looked on the bottle and there was what can only be described as 'white goo' so moved this off and took another little bite. Just as bad, gave some to the bf and he said it wasn't right. Just to set my mind at ease did third time lucky but still wasn't right. I've never tasted off chicken before but can only imagen what i was eating could only have been off chicken as i fail to see how you could have got that discusting a taste from something else.

Told the waitress and she offered me smething else but i was so put off i declined. Ordered deserts (and drinks again as they hadn't arrived) and my poor boyfriend got brownies and ice cream. There were three brownies no bigger than the bite size ones you get in tubs of 20 from the supermarket for less than £2 and a TEA SPOON of ice cream. I felt that bad for him i gave him some of my very slimly cut cheese cake (with the ne teaspoon of ice cream).

We saw 3 parties leave before waiting, 2 parties leave the bar as they had given up waiting and 1 party leave after being seated but not served.

How well do you think that report is going to go down with RE

OMG. Don't tell me this was the Birstall one? I did that, gave it a really bad report as we waited for like 1.5 hours for the food to be served amongst heaps of other mistakes they made. What did RE do? They didn't pay and then blocked me from dines for them!

Nope. Teesside (was up at the bf's)
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

I did mine this morning. I wonder how long we'll have to wait to hear back. It took me almost 45mins as I was nominated a store I don't regularly audit. How did you find it?

Secondly, does anyone know if there is such a thing as a car charger for a laptop/netbook? Can't find one in the obvious places (pcworld) so wondering if they exist. Google shows me some but I'm terrified of killing my laptop so I don't want to buy dodgy imports and really don't know what I should be looking for. Any advice greatly appreciated :D

Buy an inverter. Plugs into your car's ciggie lighter and you can plug your normal lappy charger into the inverter.

Check voltage etc etc. Caveat Emptor.
