Are Gap's qualification questions for the newish hardware client playing up or is it just me? I just had to "pass" the periodic basic few questions again, and even though I answered Yes to the last one (have you been in a trade in the last 2 yrs), it said I am not eligible! Anyone else with similar problems?
I just looked at this and said "no" to trade - got through fine.
May be that they don't want trade ?0 -
On a different subject, does anyone know for the GFK bank jobs (any of them), are there scenarios for if you have an account with that bank and are they fairly straightforward? I'd love to change my GR bank but I find the regular MShopping of said bank bumps up my income and it's a lot less complicate than the GFK jobs (for which i don't have an account)
Yes and Yes
I did 3 for my bank yesterday - all counter transactions with simple reports and decent fees.0 -
Yey, just got a MS that I've been dying to come up! :T In fact, I grabbed two. Glad they have more than one location around here! Off to do a happy dance.
Has anyone else ever discovered anything thanks to MS? I did one today for a food place that I've never been to before and it was lovely, I'll definitely be going back.0 -
Gap nails wont want people who have worked in the trade, same as they wont want people for burgers and chicken who have worked for their competitors.
If you've worked in the trade them you would would more than likely have a somewhat biased opinion.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -

I've discovered new eating places that I've mystery shopped and actually really liked. There have been a few clothes shops that I'd never been in before and have bought clothes from there again.
I enjoy MSing new shops and places, sometimes you discover some good shops that you would never think of going in normally.0 -
Can I just ask whether there are research companies that more male orientated, me being a male that is
Or am I wrong in thinking that companies take on more women than men?? I know that companies do require an average cross-sectionThis isnt a sexist post just want to apply to companies that I am not wasting their time. If so can someone PM me a few companies.

To be honest, I only see "female only" a few times, its not very often.
I'm male and I do quite well with the big MS co's, GR, Gap, TNS, Tern, RE, etc.0 -

I think there are probably slightly more jobs for the ladies - particularly in MShopping clothing stores - there are a few undies shops for instance where you have to have a bra fitting - don't think moobs count...
I doubt any companies would take on more women than men and if they do, I doubt it would be much more. In fact I get the (possibly missguided) feeling that more women than men apply to the companies so my thinking is that when male only jobs come up (of which there are some, particularly when trying out things like suits) there is less competition than for the ladies only ones.0
