With the fairly new Gap restaurants which could be said to be small, the fee is stated as all reimbursement. Is it all given whether or not you spend that much, if that makes sense?

You are given the full reimbursement amount, but you will find that you will use it all anyway. I never have much left over from the reimbursement.

The way you view these jobs is as a "free lunch" so to speak.

Thank you - I was seeing it as a "free lunch" but was wondering if it was like GR where you get the full amount or RE where it is exactly what you spend so to speak. Have applied for one anyway so shall see what it's like if I get it.

Does anyone do much work for ISC? I used to work for them a few years ago, and got quite a lot of decent assignments. I never seem to see any work on there these days though.

I do a few jobs a month, they have some really interesting clients I think. I'm desperate to borrow someones new flash car.... The reports themselves are a bit time consuming tho.

On a different subject, does anyone know for the GFK bank jobs (any of them), are there scenarios for if you have an account with that bank and are they fairly straightforward? I'd love to change my GR bank but I find the regular MShopping of said bank bumps up my income and it's a lot less complicate than the GFK jobs (for which i don't have an account)

Just had a phone call from Gap - I did a fast food assignment, dine in, but the receipt I got stated takeaway, so they just wanted to check that I had actually eaten in. They said in future may sure I check the receipt and if it is wrong for the scenario, tell them and get them to print a correct one. I might as well wear a badge saying " I'm a MS"
    :DPlease, pretty please!:D

Why not just open another account at the GfK bank, and then you can do them both!!I have several bank accounts, mainly as I had my main bank, then had a separate savings account (not that that even actually had any savings in in the end!!), then got a student account somewhere else when I went to Uni as it had the best overdraft!!!

And it fils up my purse with cards and makes me feel rich!! :D

Are Gap's qualification questions for the newish hardware client playing up or is it just me? I just had to "pass" the periodic basic few questions again, and even though I answered Yes to the last one (have you been in a trade in the last 2 yrs), it said I am not eligible! Anyone else with similar problems?

My banks are aware that I work in "retail intelligence" as well as in other areas. If asked, I say that I work as an independant contractor and make vague references to profit protection, merchandising, retail compliance, etc. I NEVER mention mystery shopping. If that gets mentioned to me, I make a dismissive comment about that being "something different," that I know nothing about.
In all fairness, it is difficult to hide the incoming remittances from the cashier looking at your bank account. Better use an online only a/c for all these mysterious funds :-)

Well, that would be a total giveaway beyond doubt. C'mon GAP, bring some common sense into the situation ...

Just got a missed call from React telling me about a particular job due within 2 weeks. I was told it was being assigned to me with first refusal. I didn't even apply for it and don't remember seeing it on the job board either! Rather strange but I'm not complaining. Anyone else had this experience?
NO, although I would love the same. You've certainly done something right :T

I suppose maybe you could waffle some crap about how you're in the area for a business course and have to give them the receipt for your expenses, and for some reason they won't pay you for take out meals. Have a little moan about how silly your company is about it to make it seem slightly more 'normal'!!!
