They are overt, and you have to watch every reel that the cinema has.
I posted this the last time they came on, so hope it helps you!
I've been allocated my first one too, but details wont be available until Thursday or Friday. However, I have just obtained the following from the internet
2hr 10min - Rated 12A - Action/Adventure/Drama/Suspense/Thriller - English
Will I be at the cinema all day? or just the morning?
Sorry to ask what may be a stupidly obvious question, but I have no details whatsoever.0 -

No, the cinema looks like it only has one reel. So by the time the 12:00 film has had the trailers and run through then the same reel will be used for the 14:45 screening. The trailers are set by reel so you only have to go to one screening.0 -

The 10:15 film will finish at 12:25 (2hr 10min later), this is not in time for the 12:00 showing so they must use a different reel. However it is in time for the 13:00 showing afterwards. Therefore it appears the cinema has 2 reels, you can check this by calling the reels 'A' and 'B' and working out if all the films could be shown using just these reels.
Reel 'A' starts at 10:15, finishes at 12:25.
Reel 'B' starts at 12:00, finishes at 14:10.
Reel 'A' starts at 13:00, finishes at 15:10.
Reel 'B' starts at 14:45, finishes at 16:55.
Reel 'A' starts at 15:45, finishes at 17:55.
If you continue this pattern you will see that the Reel 'A' showing ends in time for the next Reel 'A' one starting everytime, and the same with the Reel 'B' showings, so the cinema has 2 reels. You only need to check each reel once so you have to check 2 consecutive screenings.0 -

I think you answered my unedited question - I found more times!0 -

Thanks for your comprehensive reply. I thought that too. Now for another stupid question - I now know there are only 2 reels - can I go at say, 13:00, or must I be there for the first showing? Lastly (I think) - what do I do inbetween times? Trailers are usually about 30mins I think, do I just hang around?:(0 -

You don't have to be there for the First showings. At least you didn't when I last did one for FT. Go to the consecutive ones, and actually you will probably find you won't end up with as much time to hang around as you think. By the time you get out of one screen and make sure you have everything you need, get to the next screen to go in and make sure you're there with plenty of time before the next lot starts, the time goes.
That said, it does seem to drag a bit if you are having to do lots of screens. By the looks of it you only have 2 so that's not so bad at all. The first one I did for them was when a Harry Potter film had just been released, and was on all but 1 screen in the cinema, each one a different reel!! Was definitely not pleased when I turned up and there was a little hand written notice everywhere about an additional showing, which was on yet another bloody reel. I was there all afternoon and into the evening. Not pleased!!
I tend to only do FT now if I can do it at the same time as them who can't be named, so as to get paid twice for the same work essentially, and for films that aren't so super popular as HP was! :cool:Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
I find that with FT, I count the amount of screens the film is showing on, so this film is showing on 2 screens with 3 hours between each screening, so I am going to do "2" screens.
I too did the Harry Potter and was at the cinema for hours and hours as it was showing on nearly every single screen, I could have cried at the end and even now if I see a trailer/film relating to that time it sends shivers down the spine. No Matter what you do there will be critics.0
