I'd open a tab with the card if they do it at those pubs, I know the royal ones let you do that. Then when you ask for the coffee just tell them you've got a tab open and to put it on that. At the end of the visit you go to the bar and close your tab, pay everything off at once, and ask for the receipt.

This way they won't suspect you're the MSer from the start (when you ask for a receipt for your meal) and you get everything on one receipt. Also, it's much more common for people to ask for receipts when closing a tab as they want to make sure nothing has been added to it that shouldn't have, whereas when ordering things seperately they're all put through and paid for at the same time and people have a better rough idea of the cost (especially for one meal) so don't need the receipt to check its right.

Defo no tabs at these pubs. The menu states order at the bar and pay at time of ordering or words to that effect.

Has anyone else noticed the change in the qualification questionnaires? You now have to leave when you have completed the scenario. Previously you were allowed to remain and have another drink provided you didn't get slaughtered. I am guessing someone has either filed a bad report and had 5 or 6 pints or they have made a nuisance of themselves during the visit.

I didn't think they allowed tabs either.

And how would they know when you leave? You can use "creative licence" on the report to say what time you left and then stay there as long as you like surely??

Thank you jen, this could either prove to be a nice little earner or a complete disaster then. I really should have thought more before accepting 3 of these jobs! Oh well, onwards and upwards!

I haven't - was looking at their payment thing and it said on the 15th working day of the month or something like that. So should be the 22nd except that won't be working day so will be 26th. Maybe? I was amazed at actually getting a job with them (keep being beaten in a fastest finger competition:rotfl:) so didn't really concentrate on paydate.

Have looked again and it says

"To ensure you don’t wait more than 4 weeks for your payment, we process payments twice a month, on the 1st and 15th working day (funds should be available in your account 2-3 working days after this)". So next week I think.

thanks - i think i just struggle with their wording lol

3 or 4 months back they started asking for your table number on the reports. This way they can track your visit on the CCTV system, particularly if the report has been negative.

We do something very similar at my work when we get a negative report. I work in a casino and we have cctv and sound pick up throughout the building. We have raised several queries with the MS company through this channel.

They know because most pubs have CCTV and when you get a MS report in most places go look at the CCTV and try to spot the shopper (I used to work for the big pub chain and it was almost automatic) especially if the report was <ahem> less than steller.

I think that is common practice everywhere tbh. I cannot recall ever going to look at CCTV footage for a report that has been less than 85%. Any lower and we are all over it like a rash as 85% is the benchmark for bonus payments.

Anyone else noticed wrong addresses on RA's pharmacies? I've just had to decline a visit because I found out it's actually a couple of miles away from the street it is supposedly on, and have had to reject it as I'm related to the pharmacist there. Another one of my visits is also a couple of streets off.

No, all of mine (I did 15) were exactly where stated. I would double check to be sure as sometimes there are quite a few pharmacies in a small area. I did one yesterday and there was another pharmacy right next door to the one I was shopping.

I've had one that had recently relocated, and on a previous wave I had one that was a Supermarket distribution warehouse (as opposed to a store) - they paid me a closed shop fee for that one.
