Ok thanks for that. I have to say having just left one of the companies that they want you to shop I would be mighty pi$sed off having my time wasted like that for nothing  lol0 -
Anyone doing a React icecream? Apart from the question, request for receipt and loads of observation questions you are now expected to take a photo of the counter as you leave it - whilst holding your ice cream and coffee!
I applied for & got a couple of my locals as they did not state that the photos were necessary (some others I looked at did state this). Once allocated them I looked at the brief and found that photos were necessary.
I rejected them on finding this out, and stated my reason to them, as both are very dark areas and I'd have to stand about 6 feet from the counter to get a photo. No way could I try & pretend to be texting, even though there would be no coffee in hand. Pity as I normally pray for upsells on this one.
I hardly do any work for REACT now as I don't get coffee allocated any more and my localish ones haven't come up for a few months anyway and my allocation rate has gone from very high to very low. It'll probably be non existant allocations now I have had these deallocated.0 -

That's a drop in the ocean compared to the car showroom shops, they can sometimes waste an hours time of a car salesman, not to mention the effort! I feel sorry for them mostly.0 -

To be fair it isn't "for nothing"! Just because the company you work for isn't paying for it someone is still putting money in their till whether it be a genuine customer or someone being paid to do it by a competitor. And let's face it, you'll never ever know for sure.0 -

I've sat in some dire restaurants, looked around at the handful of other guests and wondered - I wonder how many of these people are competitor shopping, because I can see no other sane reason to be here.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!
There are three types of people in the world, those who can add up and those who can't.0 -

The egg jobs are so infamous, I wonder if any members of staff in the competitor jobs will recognise the signs? If so, they might not be too pleased.... Also, do you still have to damage a product and take it back in the competitor shops? Spying on behalf of another company I'm fine with, deliberately destroying the products of another company and obtaining a refund is another matter...0 -

That's the part I don't like, some of these shops have very strict waste budgets. My dh works for a chain I ddn't see on there but similar to one I did, and they would be fuming about things being deliberately damaged and returned, it is only 1 thing but it all adds up.
There were none close to me anyway.0 -
Morning all
Did anyone get their 'bonus' with the payment this month? I didn't and wanted to check I wasn't left out!
Thanks0 -

The shop i used to work for has like, no staff ever! Its a long up to 14 hour day and exhausting and if I found out that some numpty had chased me round the shop asking what I think they should have for their dinner, spend 99p on some eggs and 50p on some crisps then brought them back for a refund taking up even more of my time then I do think thats 'for nothing'!
I just don't agree with the principle of competitor shopping :cool:0 -

Good point! I forgot about that aspect! Wonder if there is some kind of law against that? Thinking about it there must be!0
