  • And some loon in my area has picked all of these AND the travel shops up
Yep, someone near me taken all in a 20 mile radius too! Must eat a lot of omelettes:D

Agreed :-) Serendipity not sure about it being about minimum wage, if its a large competitor the queue for customer services can take quite a while at times!

It can take half an hour to get the trolley round the store sometimes, without looking for staff to ask inane questions ...

As you say its finding the staff (and the queue for CS) that would take the time, I 'might' consider it if I was next door to an egg shop anyway, wouldn't even consider it in a competitor superstore though.......

I would say the people who are taking them are one egg short of an omlette, but that obviously won't be the case for long :rotfl:

I was thinking of doing one as I was needing to use the shop anyway, but think that the question about my meal will make me look crazy.
Has anyone done it and managed to make it sound normal in the conversation?

Is it just me imagining the staff in the competitor shops wondering !!!!!! is going on with these crazy egg-buying, over-chatty customers???? With one of the competitors in particular, you have a cat in hell's chance of finding anyone on the shop floor to ask the questions.....

At least we know that with the real egg shops, the bonkers questions/actions are all there as a bloody great hint for the staff......

I've picked one in my area at a petrol station. So far this month at this store I've (1) done my regular convenience audit for the company that can't be mentioned (2) childrens food audit for company that can't be mentioned (3) Regular quick supermarket job for TNS and (4) Competitors store for ABA-i super shop and (5) now this ESA one. What a shame I couldn't do them all at the same time - good job it's only a mile away!!!!

PS - Oh, and I popped in there this morning to do a bit of shopping after the school run!!

I've picked one. Its a posh shop I sometimes go to for a weekend treat that GR regularly have. All the others in a 30 mile radius have gone, including all the travel shops. Amazing!!! Not had a call from ESA since they've started doing backup whereas I use to get several a day.

I've picked up a couple as I am going to in one store taking photos of crisps and another looking at the bakery products, so kill two birds with one stone.

They used to sell those all in one meals in a bag, curry, rice and naan bread type thing...so I always ask about those for my enquiry...then when they realize they don`t have them...I say something like " Oh no. Now what can I do for dinner tonight?" You can usually get the conversation going from there...:)

The coffee drinkers jobs that Tern had have seemed to gone to Bare with a cut in fee and when you take the euro conversion it it is worse! I am struggling to pick up anything that would make a profit!
No Matter what you do there will be critics.
