Egg competitors - have i read this right?

the price of the eggs are now in the fee?

I didn't do one, but I'm fairly sure the eggs were included in the fee for the "normal" egg shops this time as well.

I've picked up a couple as I am going to in one store taking photos of crisps and another looking at the bakery products, so kill two birds with one stone.

Even though I'm taking photos in one near me I didn't pick it up - just too much hassle for the money, for me.

Lets just say that if they pay a fair rate, they get a good job done, if they pay peanuts, they get the monkeys version.
  • Haven't taken any myself as I no need for an egg mountain and they are £1.85 in my local supermarket for 6 so take that and the dodgy product cost off the fee and its a joke, however I wonder how many of the 'dinner for tonight' questions will actually be asked and how many responses will be made up...... How exactly will they be able to check when it is competitors?

Anyone doing a React icecream? Apart from the question, request for receipt and loads of observation questions you are now expected to take a photo of the counter as you leave it - whilst holding your ice cream and coffee!

React continues it's race to the bottom.

Pray there is a seating area. Most of them do, although whether it is near the ice cream stand is anyones guess.

I always worry about taking pics in places like this where there are kids running about.

Yup, couldn't agree more. This is exactly why I ignored these jobs despite liking the product...

Hello, naive newbie here about to ask a really silly question: I was looking at the egg jobs after reading you all talking about them and just to query what a competitor shop actually means? So a company pays you to go to another store (who don't know you are there) buy eggs, waste their time with a non complaint and ask them about your dinner?! Have I got that right or am I missing something?! And what am I missing lol

Also quick question on RE, can newbies only take 1 job at a time or does that apply all the way through? TIA

Where is the "mystery" in an assignment like that?

That's exactly right. They want to see how their own company compares to other supermarkets in the area.
