I'm all for not doing jobs that make a loss and all, but I think sometimes it's easier for me as I don't drive, so I can know that if a job is in walking distance of home or work, or if I have a travel pass anyway, I don't need to worry about petrol, which is obviously a massive plus.
I started MSing to supplement my income so I didn't have to go back to work full time after having a baby, yet still being able to earn enough to pay the bills, pay off debts, and still have enough wiggle room to have some fun!
Since having to try and clear some debts (and having a baby of course!) we've cut back on quite a lot, on of which things is going out to eat, which we used to enjoy at least once a week!! So with certain jobs, such as Secret Eating Jobs, and dare I say it, even RE Pubs, as we used to eat there often anyway as it's cheap and cheerful, even if it's technically a slight financial 'loss', it's not really to us as it's something we would have liked to be able to pay for fully anyway. If that makes sense!!
Obviously it's different for ones like Gap food, except for Pizza, which we're happy to do for the reasons above, as they're not really enjoyable evenings out!! (No offence of course to anyone who really enjoys sitting on their own in a Gap Burger for 15 mins!! :D ) I only do those occasionally when I'll be there anyway because they're super easy.

Ill say this I take eating jobs to fit in with my other work. I.E im doing a big project now travelling from scotland down to Reading over a week so ive planned meals at places courtesy of RE and Secret eating -- and yeah the company im doing the work for gives me an allowance too so every penny saved and all that.

Anyone else doing the latest batch of green shopping deliveries from GR?

Nice to see an MS co giving the good allowance + delivery fee still. Fantastic jobs these :)
