Wow Flowerbomb is amazing!! That is such a unique and utterly beautiful dress.
Yup the Masquerade one is stunning. I keep looking at some different Maggie ones but keep coming back to the Masquerade. I think it might be a bit too much though, I would seriously worry about how to walk in it, and I would be roasting if it's a hot day!

£4k is well and truly out of my price range as well, unless I can miraculously find it in a 90% off sale :rotfl:

Whereabouts are you Hadley? I am considering asking Linda to make my dress but need to figure out exactly what I want first, and then see how the prices compare. However I would suggest it is definitely worth asking for a quote as her dresses are amazing and very reasonably priced- I think she said none of her dresses came to over £1k, and she has done some really beautiful designs. And you get the bonus of having a unique dress that you know nobody else will be wearing! She also is used to working with people on weight loss plans, so it is worth asking her advice on that as well.

Actually I should hurry up and work out what I'm doing before recommending Linda to all my date twins, or she will be booked up before I've got my bum in gear! :rotfl:

He he :rotfl:Linda's dresses from what I've seen do look stunning!Maybe she can knock up flowerbomb for me.

Think you will have to go and try Masquerade on - you can have a dance in the shop :rotfl:Though it does look rather heavy. Maybe you can just wear it for the ceremony and formal bit then bring out yoursecond dress.:rotfl:

Really don't encourage me, it is bad enough wanting one £4k dress, never mind two!! :rotfl:And I very much suspect MUSE will look amazing on the stick thin model but not so amazing on me! :o

I think Masquerade would be too heavy for a summer wedding. I don't want to try it on in case I fall in love with it and get a bit bridezillaish about not being able to afford it!

I have seen some lovely Maggie dresses as well, hopefully they will be a bit cheaper. *crosses fingers*

I'm having a real dress dilemma- part of me really wants a special dress, and the other part thinks it is silly to spend so much money on a dress I will only wear for a few hours. Not sure which I would regret more- having a dream dress and being skint for months and months, or comprising on a cheaper dress and looking back and regretting it :o

Whats the saying - 2 dresses are better than 1? No maybe that was teo heads. :rotfl:I do know a couple of friends who have gone down teh 2 dress route... both of them with two designer dresses!!

Ohh hadn't thought of falling in love with it... was thinking that perhaps if I tried the dress on I would have had my fantasy and could be realistic. But yeah might just find its the one. Then I would have to beg, borrow and steal to get it :(

Have to say I share your dilema.. dream dress versus sense. I know what my OH would vote for, but I want to be a princess if only for a day!! Am stomping my feet!

LOL!! I think if you have an unlimited budget and money is no object then why not have 2 designer dresses! It is a shame we're not closer or we could have swapped dresses half way through :rotfl:

My bf is the opposite and wants me to go for the dream dress, but it is just so expensive, I really don't think it is worth it. We haven't had a holiday for years and I would rather get a cheaper dress and put the money saved towards going away, or towards a new bathroom!! Even if I could sell it on afterwards it would only be worth a fraction of the price so it would be a huge amount of money to spend. Makes it harder though as if I go for something cheaper I don't want him to be disappointed when I walk down the aisle :o

I am tempted to check out that wedding factory outlet someone mentioned recently- sounds like there are so great savings to be had. Downside would be it's a fair treck and would be expensive on the train if I didn't find anything I liked.

    Ach this is soooo hard!!
