Thanks folks. We are hoping for an operation-that is our wish-no op=no hope in this case. Thursday truly is D day. He is keeping his chin up more than me it seems-Im generally the optimist but I suppose he has to be this time. If they can treat him its 3 months chemo then a liver op theand lymphs removed then another 3 months chemo. Good job he didnt abuse his liver I guess! We went through this 4 years ago too with bowel cancer but he survived that. Just glad he took early retirement but I wish he had done it a year ago as he could have. I like to buy him treats but right now its a real problem as a lot of foods cause pain so we have to be careful. Simple things like curry sauce or a glass of wine are out of the question. I got takeaway for the two of us tonight-kids did their own tea but I had to have all the curry. Such a darn shame.
Work are accomodating so far and Im using up my hols for 2010 before April as I suddenly realised Id lose them otherwise so Im taking next week off-I will need it one way or another. DH is being all practical and doing all the jobs he can about the house while he feels like it. What can I say to that! Its his way of coping.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0 -

My thoughts are with you, angel.
Reminds you that none of us know what is round the corner.
Did a shop at MrS yesterday £28.59. Couple of special offers and Sains version of a couple of things I normally get from M%S which were a bit cheaper (and did treat myself to a pack of mini cheddars:o OK two packs - they were on offer;))0
