We walked in to the intro of November Rain - Guns n Roses and for the first dance we had "The dance" by Garth Brooks...followed by "You were always on mind" the Willie Nelson version....and to end...5oo miles the proclaimers followed by "I had the time of my life" from dirty dancing,
  • We didn't actually get our first dance due to the reception being cancelled (nightmare snow!) but we were going to have our first dance to "Snuff" by Slipknot, people may find this strange but my hubby is a massive fan and I really wanted something that he would appreciate. To me although the song is about the end of a relationship it's pure emotion and love, it was going to be followed by the Richard Cheese version of "Down With The Sickness" :)

I made my entrance to the Hitman soundtrack version of "Ave Maria" causing much giggling from our close friends as my husband was dressed in a dark suit, white pinstripe shirt and a red tie; there was a lot of confusion among the older guests!

i cant bare the thought of shuffling round to something slow for 4 minutes so if everyone is going to stand and stare we'll give em something to watch, bad dancing n'all!!

Me and other half were the only ones at our wedding (witnesses were off the street) so we didnt have a 'do'. We are planning to have one some day though and if we do, our song will be 'never too much' by Luther vandross.
  • Our ceremony music was a bit unusual I guess. The first dance more traditional. (click links for the songs)

I walked down the aisle to Type O Negative's 'Wolf Moon' (the doors stayed shut in the intro and opened just as the song drops to the heavy bit).

We then walked back up the aisle to ZZ Top's 'La Grange' (about 30 seconds in).

Our first dance was a more traditional - Leonard Cohen's 'Dance me to the End of Love' which is lovely and very fitting for a wedding.
