PMSL this has made me laugh!
About 6 months before out wedding we had a quick holiday to Gran Canaria where the song CONSTANTLY played around the pool was Mambo No5.
My OH to be mentioned to the best man that it seemed that all we did was make love in the afternoons to the beat of Mambo No 5 - it was also a standing joke between us two ( I didn't know he told him btw)
Our wedding song was 'You do something to me' by Paul Weller - we were called onto the dance floor for our first dance - all ready then then first few bars of Mambo No 5 were played!! The look on my face was apparently priceless and only a few of our guests were in on the tale with the rest looking mighty confused.
The DJ then went onto play the correct song whilst I danced round & round in fits of laughter!0 -

We had a few special songs played during the wedding:
I walked down the aisle to She fell into my arms by a guy called Ed Harcourt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_A9HmMWMNo&playnext=1&list=PLA78BF5229A96B2C5
The line "there's a thousand things I shouldn't do but if I do them I should do with you" always makes us a smile.
When the minister said you can now kiss the bride we had Starlight by Muse: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pgum6OT_VH8
And at the reception our first dance was Stand inside your love by Smashing Pumpkins: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdsalRiB7u
Certainly startled some of our older guests!!"It's an anywhere road for anybody, anyhow . . . . . but no matter the road is life" - Jack Kerouac0 -
We (I say we, I actually should put I as OH didn't really give a fig!) wanted Always by Mary J Blige and George Michael. The DJ didn't have it though so we settled for Brown Eyed Girl - which OH still plays on his Ipod every now and then and pulls me up for a dance 11 years on.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

We had a first dance to Hold On by Michael Buble. Second dance was Pencil Full of Lead by Paulo Nutini, everyone went mad dancing to that lol!
Last dance was Loch Lomond by Runrig, then a last last dance to Highway to Hell by ACDC! Everyone went mad to that one as well!!Can't think of anything smart to put here...0
