    hey all,

well its been one of those weeks at work ...dont get me wrong i dont hate my job, i dont love it either ... but... it can be frustrating as a worker when you cant help someone and just have to observe the situation and watch it unfold :( ... but i am off for a week and my mental health needs it tbh so i am going to deff take time for me ... the garden is calling me :)

i have paid another £200 off the debt:j:jand that feels good

in other news i think my mother has started phoning me  ... she has been sending emails since i explained to her i never wanted to see or hear from her again ( obviously she cares so much about me that she can carry out my wishes) i have tried blocking her... but the emails still manage to get through , i have tried bouncing the emails back ( i think this is working) but she still sends more

today whilst i was sleeping the phone rang , i let the answer machine get it but no one left a message, i then dialled 1471 thinking it was either son or mil to discuss the aunty but it was a number with her area code which is a good few hundred miles from me ) it wasnt her number but i am also aware that she has two landlines in her house and i dont know the other number, the only other member of my family that phones me ( we are not close) is my brother, it isnt his number and he generally phones me on my mobile anyway

i mentioned this to oh and he said oh she will probably try to get to me next ( which is what happened the last time and part of the reason for our fall out) he said you cant stop me from talking ot her to which i said ... well you are a big grown up and you can talk to whoever you wish ... that is your choice and i am not going to tell you other wise ... but if i find out you have in ayway shape or form been talking about me ... then i will respond in the way that i choose to

i dont know how this situation will pan out tbh ... but i do know that now that i (although not completely) dont have my mother in my life ... it is much better for me ... i do have to get accept that she will continue to try and contact me but what matters ( to me) is how i am going to deal with this not the fact that she will ot wont ( cause i know she will)

in other other news ... the money bag is deff working ... hubby came in last night and said when do we get money next and i replied tomorrow ... oh thats great says he i still have £12 left ... so from spending £70 or so (cant remember exactly how much) in a week he spent just over £10 the next week :):):)

fingers crossed it stays this way :D

    hope your all good

Sorry about your troubles with your mother. I don't know the details but do think if you have made it clear you don't want to see her that should be respected.

I stole your little bags idea and it's been working for me too! I have £11 left from the week's grocery money so am hoping I won't need anything else till Monday and then I will have managed a £49 week! If so next week is going to start with £50 (will keep the £11 aside in case I need extra stuff). Baby steps but these cost ARE coming down!

thats what we are doing miz ... having a kinda roll over ... this week i am putting the £60 in instead of £65 ok its only £5 but it is driving the costs down by £20 a month ... if we have a roll over again i think i might put half of it into a savings account and try and continue that till we have enough for a treat or something ... not sure yet ...

good luck with yours .. please let me know how it continues

:T:T:T Well done. Really helps to work with cash - hate handing it over so am avoiding spending. Had to go to T's today as had run out of coffee (major incident in our house! ;)) and was tempted by chocolate but in the end walked past - stubbornly trying to finish the week with money in the bag! :D

Will keep you posted - I think I will roll over money for 4 weeks then take any left and pay it off a card!
