oh dragon that aint fair ... i reckon you should ask for the dr to rub you out and draw you back in nice and healthy ... still the same old you just a healthy kick a$$ shiny new version
I keep asking but they won't do it, I mean I don't want much - just to get back to being a size twelve with all the broken bits fixed (oh and say 10 or 15 years younger as well), I mean that's not too much is it? :rotfl:

you did really well flee how much you putting in tomorrow ? how long has it to do you for?
i need to fill mine up but am gonna avoid doing it till tomorrow as well will just need to put off todays travels as it is literally fumes in the car now
i remember years ago in one diary writting that i was getting i think 61.2 mpg ( not entirely sure if that was the exact amount) and i remember skinty and z discussing it i think they came up with the explanation that my car is a rollerskate with a sail attatched or something ... as it was just at the start of me noticing how much we were spending ... i have been keeping an eye on it ever since ... i noticed a huge huge change when we put the roof rack on ... but since the day when i got 61.2 mpg ( i think) till now it has really sunk ... i know the car is no where near as young or as in a good a condition it was then ... but were now sitting at 47.6 mpg ....
in other strange news ... hubby went out to put something in the garage ... in order to do so he had to move the black bin .... he found £20 underneath it ... now the £20 didnt just arrive there blown by the wind ... it was put there by someone and we dont know who ... hubby came in and asked me if i knew anything about it ... i dont ... dont understand it at all
having home made pizza for dinner tonight just thought i would share lol0 -

just had a look at an old thread of mine https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/864489
this was essentially about my soa ... was just sitting here comparing the two wow the two major differences are a) my income ... we are bringing home ALOT less now even hubby's basic is less for some reason ( and yet he works at the same place ... go figure that one out if you can) and b) our unsecured debt ... yes we now owe less money than we did before but most of it then was secured debt (ie: mortgage) we only had £1500 unsecured debt now we have over £13,000 that is a BIG difference and certainly gives me alot to ponder .... i can see a ponder session coming up shortly
we also pay £30 a month more gas and electricity now very interesting to look at the past0 -
Hi Elantan, I filled up today as I was passing Mr T's. My car is saying that it has 160 miles until it runs out. That should last for a bit as I will use it tomorrow and a couple of days next week, but the week after I am hols, so won't be using it.
Your SOA is interesting. It is weird how things have changed recently. Food went so expensive at the beginning of the year but prices have recently dropped.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]

Flee thats very true i never noticed the food till you mentioned it ... i was £150 now i am £200 and i aint gonna lie £200 is a struggle ... i had £30 for entertainment .... now i think i know where the £900 odd went to ... take aways:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
but diesel ... although the price has went up on hell of alot ... i spend slightly less cause i dont have the two jobs anymore
i too look at the amount of miles i have left in diesel .... i start to panic when it gets to 60 ish though as i know this isnt a true reading .... well done on getting to today though you really have done well
how sad a reflection is it though that we now have to count our miles ... i remember when i was just dating mr el ( ohhh 22 or so years ago) we would just get in the car and go for a drive to the beach or to the hills etc and not have to think about it .... now my car goes to work or shopping .... that really is about it i cant afford to go hillwalking just now ( with mr el being off) and it will be a while when he does go back before we can afford it
but we will get there i am sure of it ... we will manage and we will have savings in less than 100 months ( now) i am excited0
