    El -

    - I am dabbling with Network Marketing and the selling of Aloe Vera products;
    - I run workshops to show women how they can eat what they want, be the size they want and never, EVER diet;
    - I am a mobile reflexologist;
    - write and present tailored IT courses (and would do a bit of testing or project management if someone wanted me to and was flexible enough to let me do it part time)

    But outside of this I am having a year of adventuring ...
    - I am off on my second foreign trip of the year tomorrow (independantly round northern India on a budget) and this could be back to back with a business trip to Vienna
    - I have places in the GMR, GNR and the Liverpool Marathon (I have never run more than 6 miles)
    - I am doing a charity zip wire across the Manchester Ship Canal to celebrate being another year older
    - I am gonna rip my back garden up and turn it into an allotment

    Well, life's for living ain't it :)

    wow NL your sure living life to the full ... i feel very inspired

    i think i know of the company you are doing your aloe vera stuff with ( although not positive) if it is who i am thinking of their stuff is very good ( if expensive)

    incidently Nl might need a wee bit of advice on how to eat what i want and never go on a diet etc ... ok i havnt been on a diet for over 10 years now ... but that's not to say i dont need to:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    tonights dinner was sundried tomato and pea risotto ... it was lovely ... really enjoyed it

    shopping came to £27 but we bought plenty of things on top of the list ( the £19.19 list) i bought milk, eggs, red lentils, 2 loaves of bread , one bag of crisps (8 pack) 4 large toblerones ( for hubby not me) and mushrooms ... so i cant complain really :D

    other things that have been going through my head ... my student loan ...

    i owe roughly £8k ... i am only paying 1.5 % interest on this account just now working out at roughly £2 a month interest... now i understand that i have to be earing something like £15k just now ( going up to £21k soon as far as i know) now i wont ever be earning that again i dont think so is it likely that i will pay this debt off (unless i chose to do so on top of what is expected ... which i currently do by the way) what age does the student loan get written off? incidently i dont plan on writting the debt off in anyway but am wondering should i rush to pay it off?

    well todays food was veggie burgers .. they were ok nowt too much wrong with them ... but i have figured out where my issues are with this food ...

    right as we all know i am a veggie ... and this is a veggie eating plan ... fine fare enough ... but my body is craving veggies and fruit .. let me expand ... i love eating a plate of veggies ... tatties carrots spinach cabbage etc etc just a plate piled high with veggies yum yum yum ... and for afters a plate full of fruit strawbs, kiwi, blueberries , banana etc etc ... i am not used to eating the rice or the pasta or the flour that i am currently eating ... my body is feeling yuck

    it came to light when i was eating the veggie burgers i was sitting looking at them going there is something missing here what is it ... it is the fact i desperatley wanted tomatoes, rocket lettuce, feta cheese, cucumber, courgette , celery, etc etc

    as i say dont get me wrong it tastes ok i can eat it ... but i feel yuck and i desperately want these other foods ... and this is week two ( at the start)

    the Tim ferris book ... read a bit last night and did some of the work required ... i had to choose four things that i could have if there was no chance i would fail ... ( it asks for more than that but you have to filter it down to four) the examples he gave were owning an Austin martin having a pa touring the croatian costline etc ... mine wernt that fancy .... i want to produce veg from my garden , i want financial wealth freedom ( an income of £5,000 per month after tax etc ... not coiming from work related pay) i want to climb a munro , i want to be healthier, now on to excercise two

    things i forgot to say earlier ... duh .... hubby got another sick line from the dr today and has had his medication increased as the dr feels that it isnt working currently ... i would agree with this totally

    i got paid so have paid £100 to the visa and put some more into a savings idea so that i can start asset planting my sig has been updated to show the new figures ... i managed to pay a wee bit more than the £600 that i was hoping to have paid i am still going to look at it as 1% paid however as it will give me a wee bit of a cushion for some months when i may be struggling to pay things ... still feeling optomisitc though about achieving this challenge so that is good atleast

    hi there
    like the idea of allocating wages on a percentage basis to different pots. Good luck with that

    Yeah to OH going ok with the food budget. Even when he was coping with new meds as well. That must feel great for both of you
