The Dolls house is FINISHED :j:j_party__party_:dance::dance: I'll take a picture soon once the varnish has finished drying :D It's taken ages but looks good even if I do say so myself :D

OH has wrapped DD's pressies (I did the difficult ones :rotfl: ), and I'm about to finish off the last of the journal jar for OH's grandad and then get printing SIL's pressie out :D OH has been out and bought a lever arch folder and some dividers as that will be cheaper and easier than sitting and sticking everything into a pukka pad ;)

Right, off to find a file I need to finish a the journal jar off ;)

Well done getting the house finished, have been watching your progress Nicki and looking forward to seeing it.

    Hi everyone

Have spent quite long enough dragging myself around thanks to virus, was starting to believe 'it won't matter if it doesn't get done', but realised today there is a minimum I just have to do. So kicked myself kind of into gear, then had phone call from daughter asking if friend could come and eat 'tea-time-ish' on Boxing Day. Decided I had enough stuff to make 2 terrines: one pork and prunes soaked in brandy; one pork ,chicken and lemon. Made them instead of doing anything more useful - have just found out from other daughter that the guest is veggie! Bless them, eh?

I shall wake up tomorrow feeling energetic

I hope you all have a great time - any veggie leftovers, throw 'em my way.

    Wx

PS I must be on the mend - I have been right off alcohol during this virus, but have just managed a glass of Pinot Noir - may well test the system with another one.

Good to see you back, TNG :kisses: you have been missed!

    So, since yesterday, we have:

    Jam and mincemeat – labelled
    Ring mum - done
Buy coal – done by DH
Collect tree – done by DH and DD
    Prescription - collected
    Cake – marzipanned by DD
    Final cards delivered
Pastry – made by small penguins
