Right, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel ;) The big shop (for the month even!) is DONE. Came to about £70 and now all I need is fresh fruit, veg & chiller stuff. :j Will need to pay OH back when my money clears in my account as he paid ;) Hopefully I will be able to stick to my £160 budget. :D

OH is currently watching Star Trek while doing the ironing, there is a load of washing in the machine and one hanging up to dry in the bedrooms over the heaters :j Got back from the shops to find a Boots voucher from Pigsback that I had ordered and wasn't expecting until after Christmas... I'm going to give it to OH to use towards my pressies ;) Right...time to sort out my lists:

Got a dilemma. I bought Sink Reflections - Flylady's book for my sister for Xmas as she always complains at being disorganised etc. However, I've had a quick flick through and think I might want to keep it for myself - what do you guys think? Punky

We did move yesterday in the freezing fog, but with the boys at nursery. Went really well and we cant stop grinning - so much space, such a lovely house, if only we could get it to be warm. It has been empty for a year and had been neglected for a while before that. lots and lots of cleaning and unpacking to do.

Punky, I should either read it carefully (I always pre-read my dads christmas pratchett book, have to check that the funny words are included) or buy your own as well. I quite fancy reading it too.

Hex it took about 2 weeks to get our house warm. It had not had any heating on for about 3 years and I hated it because I was so cold ALL the time I spent many hours crying! This year we ahve room thermostats and HEAT!!! it is so much better. I'm sure you'll find ways of keeping warm in your new home.. enjoy!!!

As you can see things didn't go exactly to plan but I'm getting there:T
Mr Tesco delivered so I've a large stock of food to keep me going for next couple of weeks and OH has done the butchers/veg for me so meat is all ready in freezer and veg is stored in nice cold caravan. So I have no more shopping to do which is a relief!
DD1's much better in herself but her voice still hasn't come back properly she finishes this 2nd lot of antibiotics tomorrow so I guess we'll have to see how much improved she is in the morning as to wether we'll be visiting the doctors. Still it beats the year they both got chicken pox at the beginning of December!

Hex - been there with trying to warm up a house, it's kind of like the walls need to soak up so much heat and then all of a sudden it'll be toastie honest!
Top tip - wear socks to bed! (oh happy memories!!)

    Night all!
