Hi, Flypeople! I'm sat in front of a lovely log fire with candles flickering, waiting for DH to acept that the sun is over the yardarm, and bring me a glass of red! He's cooking a pheasant in apple and cream sauce, with roast potatoes and roasted roots, so I'm trying not to disturb him too much! I'm going to go and look in the freezer and see what puddings need using up. I try not to eat them, so make individual portions for the other penguins and freeze them. Might be so plum flapjack slices - yummy with custard.
So, in my busy weekend I have done:
Sort fundraising folder - done
Freeceycle – list items, wrap item to post – done
Christmas card list – updated and printed
Cancel magazine subscription - done
Make pizza - done
Brown loaf – done
Pay for DS’s school trip – done
Pay for guide outing - done
White loaf – overnight
Pick up and compost windfall apples - done
Chop firewood - done
Going to search for the corkscrew.............

Now that I'm up to date on the thread, a few honourable mentions:
Moggins :hello: Welcome back. Will you help to keep us all in line in the run up to Christmas?
Punky, glad you like the smilies. I'm pleased to be able to use them again
Lynz and Hex, dare I ask how the moves are progressing?
Welcome aboard Sammy! You're off to a flying start, but please make sure you don't burn out in one go. Little and often gets it done and keeps it done
For pigpen
And a waveto Wendy, Lil'me, Nicki, TNG, and any other Flybabes!

Well!! Everyone is far too organised as far as Christmas is concerned! :rudolf:
It's grocery day for me today, but tonight I will sit and write up my list counting down to the big day, because I've got one day less that you, and by the sounds of it, more to do LOL
Spent the weekend away, and did manage to buy a couple of pressies, but . . . stuck for ideas on others.
Have a good week, everyone. If there is to be any peace, it will come through being, not having - Henry MillerM.A.C.A.W Member . . Wannabe Flybaby0 -
Thanks for the welcome back Penpen. I've already started the Chrimbo Flylady challenge.

Denise, I am with you on that one. I have done nothing, can't even order anything as I don't know where we will be living next week. As far as I am concerned Christmas is not happening. I may even slack as far as to order pre-filled stockings from Hawkins for the older ones
Anyway, have now packed the littles room and toys. The state of the walls and skirtings behind their beds is quite revoltingI only did it a few weeks ago as well. Top floor mostly packed and the loft storage, and I have done the first twelve boxes of books - maybe 20 more to go. Even managed to do it without stopping to read them one :j OH has had a good go at the garage and garden so we are ok to go on Friday if it happens, ha bleedin ha.
Fingers crossed it is not Monday 11th, electricity is off all day so I wont be able to hoover before we go.
Hopefully we, and Linz, will exchange tomorrow, and complete on Friday. :snow_laug'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
