Morning Flybabes! Night Denise! Speak to you next week Flyboy!
Penny - good to have you back to full strength :T
Well I've had a carp nights sleep so feeling really rubbish. Neighbour is taking DS for lunch after pre-school so had planned to finish off all the Christmas shopping. However, OH has other plans and thinks I should stay home and pack up the rooms we're having plastered tomorrow
Not so much Flying as just surviving here. Any chance Christmas could be put back a week and them I'll be ready for it!
Lynz - hope exchange went ok and you're not too stressed. Hex - how's yours going? Pigpen - I don't know how you do it with 9 kidsPixxysu - thanks for sharing a drink with me. lil_me thank goodness one of us is getting something done :T Nicki - I seem to remember you also go on organised.com - did you follow their Christmas preparations?
Happy flying guys! Off to get dressed and brace myself for the plumber who is coming to connect the radiators which means draining the whole system - happy days.......

Hello all
Penny so glad your laptop is cured:T you must be relieved you dont need to chase round getting it sorted any longer :j
Didnt exchange yesterday - additional enquiries were faxed through to OH so now we have them and ready to return back to the sols this morning when he goes to w*** We might exchange today, in which case I might try adn get more quotes for removal men. I know this is really bad but part of me feels like getting a contract cleaner into do this and the new place
But then I know if I did I wouldnt be satisfied with the results and say its not clean enough/ using bad chemicals so maybe not
I guess today will bhe another irritating day of achieving sod all and the day disappearing - Oh home before Ive even shined sink etc
Im going to do a really short list today and get back into it the baby wayhopefully that will help
[STRIKE]1. call sols and ask about final question
2. ensure fax sent to Sols [/STRIKE]
3. raise quidco enquiry
[STRIKE]4.deal with post [/STRIKE][STRIKE]5. do washing up
6. put away ][/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]7. shine sink [/STRIKE]
8. go to get boxes from sweet factory
[STRIKE]9.wash blanket [/STRIKE]
10. put dry washing away
11. call neglected freind
[STRIKE]12. answer rest of pms [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]13. make a start on dinner [/STRIKE]
14. go and buy white bread flour for french loaf.
15. if we exchange, go and buy champers and get drunk later
thats all Im doing.
Anyway love and hugs to all
Lynz
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Penny - good to see you back online
Punky - I would take the weeks delay too, never left my shopping this late before
Pigpen - I am not holding out much hope on the calenders either - village shop has a couple with pictures on but ds1 is adamant he is having chocolate. We are off to Tescos and Wilkos this morning for one last try. Going to see Santa as well :j
Excahnge simply isnt going to happen for a few more days, so rather than sit and wallow we are going out this morning, then a good general clean later.
Bit of a difference of opinion last night with OHI am adamant he is to spend this weekend sorting out and packing his very full garage into the moving crates. He is equally adamant that he is going to pack them into crates as he loads them into the van  I just know I am going to end up doing it for him and I have more than enough to do packing the house and five thousand books.
Lynz - the best quote I had was £400 to move a three bed fifteen minutes away. Van with tail lift is £75 a day to hire, and OH is adamant he is moving his garage and tools himself anyway. I would much rather have the professionals but we will need the money for essential works once we are in.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Usually I would but as I've adapted the plan over the last couple of years I am pretty much able to do it now without having to log into the sitePlus my house is pretty much undercontrol at the minute so I can sit back and relax a little and enjoy the quiet until I get the "parent governor" requests to attend numerous school events which I expect to start as of the 6th  Almost finished my shopping though, just OH (£6 to spend), something else for my SIL2 and my dads pressie and I'm DONE
