Tesco misprice discussion area part 14

Managed to find the smoked haddock fillets at a nearby Tesco, SEL £8.12kg pack at 8.78kg. R&R on 2 packs, She even gave me the refund in cash even though I had paid by CC.

The organic winter roasting vegetables SEL was still showing 2 for 1 but instead of getting charged £2.99 you will get charged £4.00. I didn't get the veggies as I was only buying a few things, but will get them elsewhere.

Got rid of a few more asda coupons as well.:D

I know, but was impressed that 2 weeks running they have correctly calculated the discounts and I don't R&rR in my local, still can't help looking though.

So if 'I saw whole legs of Lamb' sel 11.97 but on the pack £11.96 but the lb was £3.03 on both the sel and the pack, would it be R&R?

IMO yes as the european courts ruled that prices have to be displayed by kg, the price per lb is just there for convienience for the older shoppers!:D

Put simply if you buy a leg of lamb which weighs 1kg then you would be over charged by 1p hence that is an overcharge.

Anyone else agree?

Ignore me, it would be right if the SEL and the pack price was the other way around!!!

No, because £11.96 is less than £11.97. You want the sel to be less than the pack price.

No, because the SEL is higher than the item. The item is charged for on the Kg price/weight, the pound price is there as a reference only as some are more comfortable with that form of measurement

No ,Sorry my mistake due to the wine ocean (from Mr T) it's the other way round sel 11.96 pack 11.97, it was only a penny difference.

You'll have to lay off the free Holsten, 306....you got this round the wrong way.......You've got Jane running to her Tescos for her free lamb tomorrow, which she wont get......

Now Janes changed her tune, so your answer was right....it was the question that was wrong..............
