We took on Mr T and we won:D

Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now
  • thought I would share this with ev1 to lighten the mood - ordered some mens sanex deodorant (2 for £2.90) for £1.84 each so total was £3.68 well noticed on my bill that it had only taken off 0.68p - got overcharged by 10p - and I had to check and recheck to make sure that I had made that right!! I had to laugh - god only knows how MSE'RS work out these savings/loopholes etc, clever bunch of people you are.
Comp wins 2013:160 finish quantum tabs, 2xtickets private screening of prisoners(Jake n Hugh 2)

  • With the ASDA coupon on self service checkouts

When u put the coupon in the slot i guess there nothing to stop me from pushing thru a worthless piece of paper & palming my £4.50 coupon for use another time....
  • Be careful doing that Ren, sometimes the till will bleep for authorisation, and a cs will come and open the box to check the coupons!

    Just a quickie...

One of the more worrying revelations to be thrown up by my Data Protection Act request was that my log in password for Tesco.com was clearly printed on my records - it wasn't encrypted as I thought passwords should be. These records are available to anyone at Dundee who wants to access them, and possibly others working for Tesco.

Given what I now know about the integrity of certain persons at Dundee, I'm not comfortable with this.

So for heavens sake please make sure your password for Tesco.com isn't the same one you use for MSE or anything else.

This applies whether you've used Tesco.com for internet shopping or if you simply use the site to check your Clubcard balance - either way you'll have a password which they can access.
