the bit highlighted in bold is wrong.

he fully understands the policy because I explained it to him..maybe u think i dont understand it either.

taking a refund is one thing and legal, taking to another store for a refund on something u were already refunded for is deliberate fraud, u can twist it anyway u like, but it is fraud..

Sorry mate, but you are wrong on this one.

RandR is a bribe from Tesco to stop you reporting them to TS....thats all it is.

Taking your goods back if you dont want them, is part of Tescos policy.

There is no way this is fraud.

Tescos are getting the exact goods back, and you are getting your exact money back

RandR doesnt affect statutory rights, and should also not affect Tesco policy.

This has been thrashed out on the ethics thread, and really if theres any more argument about it, thats where it should go.

There's some excellent posts re this subject on there.

, and return the product to them in exchange for the price they can re-sell it for later (within the 28 day period indicated by the policy board).

You have then decided to exercise your rights within the law to a full refund to the value that they can resell the product for.

Does it matter about what they could resell the item for?

I should have used the term "which you paid" .... but was nervous somebody would point out "but you paid nothing" .... which is clearly the crux of my argument .... so I thought it best to rephrase .... perhaps "the amount they could resell the item for" wasn't a good substitute .... even though 9/10 the price they could resell it for will be the price you originally paid (as it has to be within 28 days anyway).

So you are not concerned about your integrity?

Kevin kelly I am not, a minnion, I hesitate to laugh,as i work for myself and quite succesfull as well. But my integrity could never be questioned unlike yours..

Can we try and ascertain how you stand on RandRing.

Have you read and understood Tesco's policy on overcharging.

Do you understand the 28 day returns policy.

Do you know what a Golden RandR is.

I must admit my first impression was that you were a Troll, when I saw your post condemning Postie, but having reread Posties post, I can see how it can be mis read.

In which way do you think Posties integrity is lacking....I didnt understand that bit.

If Postie is taking his DVD's and Champagne back for a refund(in return for the goods).......do you see anything wrong in this.

I look forward to your reply.

We dont condone any fraud, or label swapping, We believe we are comlpying totally with Tesco policy, exploiting it yes, but doing anything illegal...NO.

I and possibly others will discuss the "ethics" of thiis policy with you, over on the designated thread if you wish.......link below

If you just persist on this thread with fraud, theft, etc, you will be ignored by the majority as it will be assumed you ARE just a Troll.

The vast majority of mr r&r receipts have been marked with either "refunded" or "refund" .... and many of them have additionally had the product description and its price crossed through .... (to be extra sure I guess!)

Yep, they usually make extra sure with me too, not that I haven't had the odd Golden before.

Am now keeping head well and truly down after my xbox fiasco, no more r&r for me at all for ages, going to resist even when they're staring me in the face. Not going to read the misprice thread - I shouldn't even peep on here!

Thats disappointing FloFlo, theres a lot of us enjoy your posts and escapades

Dont let the basta*rds get you down

I'm sure you'll regain your confidence.

There must be some stores in your area where you arent known,

I didnt see the outcome of your Xbox fiasco, other than you returned it and were going to complain to HO, although my memory is going a bit.

Good Luck in whatever you decide to do.

I'm going back to my 'lulling them into a false sense of security' phase. Why is it when you don't want to find any misprices you spot loads.

Bumping up my points instead for now - get as much, if not more hassle with the health & beauty points coupons as I did r&r ing. Some right miserable so & so on the tills, hadn't noticed so much when checking misprices.

Well in appreciation of "The Postmans" efforts, I will say this is MSE terms.

Instead of leaving a tip to show my appreciation for yesterdays post turning up on Thursday at 3pm, I will leave a note on the front door requesting a Xmas tip from said "Postie"

What should we say ? a bottle of Moet settle it in the spirit of goodwill to all ?
