Also in one of the stores i visited today they've added a bit to the policy board, it says something like 'some refunds are subject to the duty managers discretion'... are they allowed to put this up?
Also there another A4 sheet near the policy board that said something like 'due to computer problems the multi - buys aren't going through properly & they will only refund the difference
The 2 multi-buys i did purchase did go through properly, i shall have to see how long they leave that notice up for.“Hope is the only bee that makes honey without flowers.”
Some people only dream of angels, i held one in my arms.
Praying this baby makes it.0 -

It should not have gone up in the first place, imo. It refers to a problem from mid week.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

Apparently being rude and agressive to staff, and being chased out of the store by security guards...
All complete bull sh.t, in fact when I left the store I had just had a chat with the manager and shaken his hand.
I'd like to see the CCTV of me being chased out, and the security guard who chased me say they did it..lies lies lies.
Starts off, I do my shopping £80 odd quid worth, couple overcharges on chickens, next thing I no security dude says i've been banned,
i say ok dude, if i'm banned can i hear the manager say it please, he says ok
CS manageress comes over, very nice and no problems at all,
then the big strop comes over, says was rude, aggressive and chased out by security, as i said before, that is a complete lie, and i said to her she just made that lie up on the spot, and if i can borrow her pen to write the managers name down please...says i'm not banned for the refunds but for agression...
so, any advice please dudes ?
my plan is to contact the manager of Old Kent Road store, his name is Alistar Williamson, and the big nasty as. manglers name is Amanda Jones.
And b4 anyone says anything about naming names..my name is here for all to see, no hiding behind any dodgy email ads.
I have nothing to hide, and I used my clubcard, and Tesco have my details on the shareholder registar anyway...so I feel vindicated naming the person who lied about me, incidently the manger is actually ok.
Funny enough the nice CS asked me for my name and phone number, so I gave it to her, correct details, interesting that I had alledgedlly ran away last week then...liar liar big fat pants on fire Miss Amanda JonesBack to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
My local store has just put up a sign behind cs desk restricting "bulk purchases" to 12 food items and 1 non-food!!!!!
Surely this can't be legal?I love a nice juicy "kebab"...0 -

Every time I've reported a sign like this it's been gone the next day !
Possibly the multibuy is left up from earlier in the week when all multibuys bar one stopped working for a few hours.0 -

Your contract with Tesco is formed once they have accepted payment for the goods and they are in your possession. If they have chosen to ignore the "bulk buy policy" at point of sale then they can no longer use it as an excuse to refuse a potential refund.
Often these policies are initiated in a genuine (although possibly misguided) attempt to protect "genuine shoppers" and ensure that deals are available to them and not traders. We've all heard stories of people buying 1000s of cans of beer because they're half-price. Many of these will later be resold which is against Tesco's Ts & Cs.Can I help?0
