looks like the boxsets might be fixed now then...?

    Not in my store :-)

Look out for the ones that have the lower priced sticker on them - SEL states a higher price.

Have just got my first r&r with two 'my first painting by numbers' scanned £9.xx and on the display box £7.xx, had gone to CS anyway about some extra points that didn't scan and happened to notice they had over charged me on the painting by numbers, CS just scanned the box and then went off to look at the display box came back and just ask for my card and did a full refund, no questions asked didn't even explain what she was doing. Well happy as I wanted these as Christmas presents.

Has anyone tried the wine misprice where only 5% comes off (posted this afternoon on the other thread) ? I plan to try it tonight when I finish work but my 'local' may not have all the types. I'll report back on what i find.

On the champers, did anyone have any grief over the "NV" bit of the SEL where CS said it wasn't the same thing, and if so, what did you say??

I went looking for the Xbox labels/items to see if I could find a store with all relevant bits. The 2 stores I went in no joy. One of the stores had a game section that was such a mess, that I have seen better organized jumble sale stalls - it is a wonder the store ever manages to sell a game because it was chaos. But I just thought I would check the wines section and.......... there it was the golden SEL - £19.15........but no champers! So I asked the lad on the floor to check his stock room and he came back with one bottle. I said I wanted 6 to take advantage of the 25% offer. At the same time a man asked for 18 bottles of whisky! If you could have seen the lads face, he didn't know what to make of it. The bloke was getting the whisky for his workers for Xmas. So the lad comes back with my champers in a sealed 6 pack and off I went to the till to make my 'purchase'. Off course they went through at £20.74 and upon querying it I was offered £10.XX refund for the difference. Now this was a small Metro store, so they obviously aren't used to high price overcharges like this, so a call to HO and everything was sorted. But I did not get the extra £30.xxx that some lucky beggars have got on here, but hey, I can't sniff at my good luck. So keep looking there may still be a few out there until HO fires off an urgent price check on these.

the CS said that to me and I backed off as i wasn't sure.

You can say that the bottle doesn't say vintage in the description on the back therefore it is a NV bottle. Also you could ask them to show you the "NV" version and they will probably be stuck as it is that bottle.

    Good luck
  • And apparently i didn't get barrred:D

Must have been asking redfox out on that date ;)

I hope i never pressed a letter too many times ;)

Look for the Montana Pinot Noir 2005 £9.99 bar code 9414024723264, I tried with the other wines this afternoon and the discount worked, this was the only one I couldn't find in the other stores.

    Erm, isnt this illegal?.

Illegal activity is not tolerated here, so I would delete this as soon as possible!.

Don't know if it's illegal but it's discussed on the ethics thread ;)
