Hi r`n`r ers!!
Just discovered this concept and was wondering how it all works with regard to how you find out that the scan is different to the sel without going to checkout?1/11/06 -1/06/07 BSC #42

One to avoid, PS2 Pro Evo 6. On the miss price thread it was stated that it was scanning at 29.97 and SEL of 29.77. Scans at 29.77 in my store.0

For anyone wanted to exchange Xbox games/DVDs, here's what I exchanged today and where - and obviously I had no receipts...well only Tesco receipts with overcharge written on them:
WHSmith: Jim Carrey & Crouching Tiger triple sets - both scan at £14.99, Futurama sets - both scanned at 19.95 I think, exchanged for some DVDs and a book. I did two DVDs, my oh did the other two. I was given an exchange receipt, my oh was told he couldn't have the receipt!
HMV: They said they were happy to exchange an opened Xbox Lego game as long as it had their barcode sticker on the back of it. Well the shelves were full of opened Xbox cases and the stickers peel off very easily...so one made it's way onto my Xbox game. They checked the disc for marks and then exchanged it for a DVD. The game scanned at £39.95. Also exchanged a Simpsons DVD set, this scans there at £19.95. Receipts given for both transactions.
Sainsbury's: Exchanged a sealed Lego game there, it scanned at £39*. Exchanged it for a £28* DVD and they gave me the difference in cash but wouldn't give the receipt.0 -

Erm, isnt this illegal?.
Illegal activity is not tolerated here, so I would delete this as soon as possible!.0 -

You're on very dodgy ground there, very dodgy! :-)0 -
Someone asked quite a few posts back where they could return items to without receipts: Woolies, HMV etc were mentioned and so I decided to follow advice taken from HERE and post my findings!
So it's illegal to take items back to a different store from where you purchased them is it?0 -

No, not really, if they let you. But vandalising HMV's property is surely illegal...?0 -
Anyway, we're drifting off topic again...!0
