  • Used to work there (thank the good lord no longer) - normal staff shifts are generally variable - depends on the requirements of the department and there are no set shift patterns as such for the day staff (between 7am and 10pm). For the management however there will always be (depending on the size of the store) 2+ lower tier management working past 7pm, and generally one senior manager working till 10. Generally there will always be differing managers working this late shift on different days of the week ie they will each do one a week. Hope this helps someone.

On a couple of occasions yesterday, the duty manager didnt argue with either a PI manager or an FMC when they disagreed with my refunds.....after arguing between themselves, then contacting Dundee, I got all my refunds.....

Can you shed some light on the hierachy of the stores and although i think the PI is the Price Integrity manager, whats the FMC.

I gleaned this little bit, in converstaion with the security guy.

Mr rdwarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........You are becoming a trrroll

And a few of us are getting sick of you..........If youve got nothing positive or constructive to say.....why say anything??

You must just sit there waiting for a post which "gets you all excited"
If you believe that then I suggest you stop "feeding" me ;)
But if you have any sense whatsoever you'll realise that the personal abuse I've had to endure from a certain user on here has been totally unacceptable. I should be allowed to express an opinion without schoolboy name calling and you and he ganging up on me like a couple of playground bullies. Registering a new account (r&r&r&r&r) with the sole attention of abusing another forum user was nothing but shameful.
Now, we can go one of two ways here. You two can stop it, I'll do the same and we'll bury the hatchet like grown ups or you can carry on as you are and we all risk losing the thread.
    Can I help?

OOOOOOOOO.....damn.......does that mean I get 5 bans for yesterday.

I hadnt actually.....on this occasion it was along side.

Still means they've got 2 prices on display for the same article.

I dont really see this as a crime.......and the manager didnt seem to imply that either.

  • Hi everyone on this post, am a bit new to this but have readl nearly all the posts since the beginning (so please dont anyone tell me to do my homework cos i have spent hours reading honest)
Just wanted to know how everyone gets all the biggies ie xbox's / laptops etc? do you make a mental note of when stuff finishes it's promotion & then go and get them?
& just for a laugh thought I'd let you all know that my car boot had a a sat nav, dvd player and bratz scooter in, none of which i wanted but had an old sel on showing reduced price so I bought them. Of course they went through at the right price so no R & R!!!. only good news was returned them today and i kept the points small consolation(which I have since realised I shouldnt use my clubcard anyway if trying forR &R.)

    anyway any advice appreciated

Same price/label as whitemouse75 for me, but no r&r (yet).

Manager refused saying "Do you seriously expect me to give you £100 of champagne for nothing?" I kept calm and said "well, you were happy to overcharge me by nearly £12! It was only by accident that I noticed!"

He still wouldn't budge, but was very persistant on getting me to authorise a credit back to my card. Head Office was closed, so I kept everything and will call tomorrow. First refused r&r - I was shaking like a leaf

After giving details to Head Office and getting the expected go-ahead on the refund, I hurried back to the store.:j
There weren't any bottles left on the shelf :D for the CS lady to scan, so she had to re-price another bottle. She asked me what HO had said and I replied that I'd get a refund & keep the product. She proceeded to refund me £125.65 - 6x£20.94, without the 25% off

Can we get a smilie with champagne glasses please?
