There was a fiasco in September with x box consoles (£300) it went on for 3 weeks. I got mine in the third week.

I got 4 copies of the same game in 2 stores last Friday (4x £25), by Monday it had been fixed.

So there is no definite answer to your question. But the sooner you look the more chance you have of getting a freebie
    thanks.

    So any tips??????

i guess the best thing is to constantly visit/read the misprice thread.

So back on a boring tesco R&R topic!

I found a xmas gift today in one of those black boxes said one price scanned at another dearer price. The woman was adamant that no could not have R& R as it was the wrong box-it wasn't. I had to go and could not stay to argue-is it worth calling CS and normally would you stand your ground and say i know the policy pay up? it is the second R&R I have had bother with in the last week-the first i pursued and got it-out of date ticket -she said they had suspended the policy???

I did a £190 shop so I thought really one 9.97 R&R was not really abig deal.

so what u r saying is that it is cheaper for Tesco to continue its R&R policy than make a court apperance.

are there people out there who as soon as a misprice is listed go down to there local tecso and purchase the product? how soon after the posting do tesco realise they have made an error and rectify it?

As soon as it is refunded, Tesco know - nothing to do with this thread. Electronic point of sale, y'see.

As for rectifying it....painfully slow at times, unfortunatly. So much of it comes down to human error. Take the humans out, whole thing would be perfect (well...as long as you killed off marketing at the same time ;) )
Who or what was I before you came in to my life

I definately would have pushed it, but I'm awkward like that!! I think there trying there hardest lately to get out of their own policy. Just makes me more determined to get more r & r's now.

    ?

Once again, i dont see a problem?

The swastika was originally a religious symbol sadly taken on by the nazis, i was merely implying you think you run this place and are an !!!! about how you do it, ie in a nazi style
i do feel you should calm down on your comments. theres a difference between the swastika and some religous symbol you showed the swastika. this is no place to abuse people here. he doesn't run this place it is mainly a free discussion where we can discuss things in a sensible manner. if you read the top we should report abuse and offensive material. yours was both

What i would like to know being new to this and gob smacked:

Do you self scan or go to a till? Then when you go to customer services what do you say?

I cant see how you can say the price should be X according to the shelf but it has come up as Y. Who looks to see that its 1p a kilo different on meat or that a game is £1 different. Do you write down a shoping list and the prices next to the items or what?

I understand know what the idea is but not what you say to customer services?

Please explain as i want to have a go!!!
