Most regulars always travel many more miles than that just for a couple of games, never mind a console!
So yes, you should try it, and also check the Tesco online store locator to see if there are any other stores you can take in during your trip. If I drive 10 miles to a store I would always look for others within another 10-mile radius at least.
HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

DavidF wrote:Hi there, Ive been lurking around these forums for many years now, and to think i always just completely ignored this and other misprice threads, I must have been mad lol. Anyway a friend of mine went to a local large tesco's and they have a large sign up stating that if they have mispriced something due to an offer having just ended they will NOT honour the R&R policy. Has anyone else seen this ? Is this a new thing ? Can they do this ? So many questions lol..... BTW i am at the moment reading backwards on this thread so if I have missed the fact that this has been posted before i appoligise in advance.
Can't remember who commented might have been plushchris, if you think it is wrong then ask to speak to head office while you are there. They will clarify it for you.I had a plan..........its here somewhere.0 -

HTH
I did this yesterday - hit 3 stores and returned empty handed :mad:0 -
For those who might actually be interested in going shopping:
I noticed in one of my locals the the Gears of War game was priced at £39.96 with the now usual yellow SEL. Could be a potential mis-price in other stores..This isn't life in the fast lane, it's life in the oncoming traffic - Terry Pratchett0 -

YES! 100% YES!!!!
What have you got to lose? half hour of your time and a bit of petrol/bus fare?
Like Couponmad said, most of us would travel 4 or 5 times that distance if we knew there was a good chance of a big misprice!
I went out on wednesday and did roughly 150 - 200 miles, just going to different Tescos stores, I cant reiterate enough how much it improves your chances if you are prepared to do a bit of legwork, ok maybe what I did on wednesday was a bit excessive (200 miles and 12 hours) but IMO it was totally worth it as I came home with a car full up with beer, DVDs and games totaling over £400 worth.
It always amazes me when people say "I went to tescos last night and couldnt find anything" why not move onto the next store? I went to 8 stores on wednesday and only walked out of 1 empty handed!Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
smckay wrote:as far as I can tell that will be an R+R as it scans at £297. :T
now I went to CS today but I could not see their "policy" on the wall.
So how can I refuse the difference if there is no R+R policy to point out to them?
Didn't they run a TV ad campaign a while back. Just say you remember it well as it was the reason you switched from Asda/Sainsbury's to shop at Tesco's :rotfl:0 -

Many a day I've leap-frogged through the UK only to wonder how in the name of all things Holy how I've managed to end up yet again in Tesco Dingwall surrounded by the supporting cast of Braveheart...
