Yep. Its standard procedure now for every Tesco to ensure you are cut up just as you try to leave. The theory is if you actually collide, you will need to buy plasters - the mark-up on Band-Aid is awesome (and is always miss-priced). All that profit has to come from somewhere, after all.

i just thought I would point out seeing as no one else has Trading standards are not interested in wether tesco give you an r+r, their job is to ensure that traders trade legally like charge people advertised prices.

The advertising standards agency are those that you need to contact regarding stores not carrying out promises they make to customers. like r+r.

Don't forget newbies, don't buy all 4 together because we think the discount for 2 annuals will work if you have Cars and Scooby Doo together in your transaction. You just need to buy any stickered annual with Noddy, or any stickered annual with Pokemon.

I don't know if this will help but I had a problem last week. It was a clear cut overcharge (down to tesco not printing exclusions on the SEL) but the manager refused it point blank. HO got involved and, once they had established it WAS an overcharge, they sorted the manager out. The HO guy said that tesco have the policy and stores MUST abide by it . He said that some managers might not like doing a refund but they don't have any choice once the overcharge is confirmed. HO apparently can over rule the store provided the evidence is clear cut - its more problematical if the overcharge is a 'grey area' and open to interpretation.

if anyone is in tesco can someone scan xbox 360 saint row as there are a few stores with a sel of 37.97 instead of 39.97 we could have a misprice here .my local hasnt got a scanner and im out all day so cant check.:j

Be careful though because I have bought several 'Noddys' with other annuals and the discount has always come off.

Luckily I have quite a few young nephews & nieces to give them to.
