If the two prices on the digilogic were £67.xx and £74.xx i'd get back there sharpish! Scans at £74.xx and currently sitting under the portable in the bedroom ;)

Currently 2 cheap dvd recorders at Mr. T , the goodun is in a white box :D

Tony Hawkes still in one store this morning :D
when did u get them today?
  • This goes round every now and then. Do i look bovvered ??
True but look at how many new people there are (me included) and Tescos don't have to offer this policy I was just wondering if anybody else had heard anything on it

What u have to understand is that it's cost them a lots less to give us the items for free than it would if they were fined by TS for every instance.

If Constantine Ben or Spa (sorry too much gin to check exact names) tell you this then worry otherwise don't lose sleep.;)
  • So theres no hard and fast rule, I carry my "to be exchanged" goods in the car with me all the time, and ask CS on every opportunity..........

    You don't ask.........you don't get[/QUOTE]

I do exactly that aswell, carry the items in the car and if i pass a tesco then go and try. Ive noticed wearing a suit helps aswell... when the misses takes her nan shopping aswell she has no problems..so big thing could go by how you look...

Just be polite and friendly.. dont go in there demending anything...

Yeh...theres no obligation for them to do anything, without the receipt.

It really depends on the way you put yourself over.

Am always politeness itself! They must like the look of you.

I have been refused point blank in the majority of stores, the main reason being, they couldnt tell when it was purchased, or they didnt like the look of me.......lol

Even gave them the date of purchase and they had no record of it!
I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

Yeh...theres no obligation for them to do anything, without the receipt.

It really depends on the person you are dealing with, the way you put yourself over, and the individual policy of the store.

Re the latter, I was told this by a manager, who allowed me to return a Phone on the Tesco network.

I have been refused point blank in the majority of stores, the main reason being, they couldnt tell when it was purchased, or they didnt like the look of me.......lol

I have however had great success at a couple of stores, who operate the policy of "Exchange only, without receipt"..........although in one instance I got a full cash refund.

So theres no hard and fast rule, I carry my "to be exchanged" goods in the car with me all the time, and ask CS on every opportunity..........

EDIT Sorry, deleted post by mistake....reposted....hence answers before question.....spooky!!
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
