You can just imagine the scene at the cs desk if Tesco introduce the 'new' overcharge policy as stated on the website.....

'Sorry sir, it's not an overcharge'

'But it has a lower price on the SEL'

'Ah sir, but the sel is wrong. The computer is right and so you have not been overcharged. Read the sign, you only get refunded if we overcharge now, not just because the price on the shelf is wrong. Sorry sir. Goodbye'

    Are you actively encouraging r&r.:naughty:

Isn't that the purpose of the thread to support others, in their pursuit not to be overcharged?

Whoever as an individual you may actually work for?
As my sig, seems to be offending some. I have removed it, god bless you mr T.

Seriously, how can this be an overcharge??

You paid the advertised price for the product, not a penny more.

I disagree, 499 points is £4.99 in vouchers, isn't it?
The £4.99 in Clubcard points could have been what swayed the customer into buying the item from Tesco and not another store.

as far as i know this was a little application developed by the owner on his own personal webspace. Personally I think it is to be applauded and not slagged off. The whole point of the application is that USERS update the info.
If everybody used it, it would actually be a lot more useful than having to scroll through page after page of mostly irrelevant bickering as we tend to do here.

Must admit, I never noticed that it was ever up to date, there always seemed to be a lack of contributions, and I realised the idea was for RandRers themselves to update the site..........

I think DeadHead must have missed the recent discussions about the list sopplayer (I think it was) used to write and maintain.

Although this was a list of everything mentioned in the threads that day or so, and was done to help the RandR fraternity, it became apparent that it wasn't a good thing after all, when Tesco staff were spotted clutching the list while removing sels from the shelves...........

While it doesnt take a genius Tesco employee to make a list from the threads, if there isn't a ready made one available, it prevents the oportunist do gooder from simply logging on and printing off his daily copy to impress his bosses.

And before the paranoia screemers step in........its been seen to have been done.

So as I said originally.....what use is the CPJackson list.

PS....Have you missed me......Ive been discussing RandR ethics, and Facts, on the Farepack RandR charity thread........................????????.......any topic seems to be ok on there....Get yourselves over for a look, frequent, postman, ........lol

Theres only 100 posts or so......but some "interesting" views...............

PPs......feel lika day out tomorrow, but feelin' a bit lazy.......anyone got a list they can PM me please.................lol...................not CPJ's though thanks

An overcharge / misprice is where a customer pays more than is advertised for the product that is purchased.

No amount of disagreeing is going to alter the fact that the OP paid the price that was advertised for the product that they purchased. Whether or not the advertising swayed the customer, they were still not overcharged.

Can anyone please tell me how to find a store with self scan tills? I haven't seen any at my local store and couldn't find a list on Mr T's website. Just wondering what I'm going to do with all these Asda vouchers now!
