Feeling quite please this am ! HO agreed my McManis overcharge and arranged my refund from the store. A 40 mile round trip to pick my money up and I did a bit of normal shopping while there - also picked up a DVD ( the Disney one thats been listed on misprices). I took great delight in telling her I'd been overcharged yet again just as she was giving me my wine money back ! She reckoned they'd known about the DVD problem since last week and it was supposed to be fixed - she smiled (but it was through gritted teeth) as she refunded me again.

  • As a R&R virgin I was hoping to get a little advise, I have just purchased a Dyson from my local tescos which had an offer of an extra 499 points.

On leaving I checked my receipt & noticed the bonus points hadnt been added, I went to CS & the lady went off to look at the offer, she came back with the yellow SEL which had the details of the offer. She then apologised & added my extra points.

Then on my journey home I was thinking that this could possibly be classed as an overcharge, however I'm not sure it is covered under there R&R policy as it's not really an overcharge on the price advertised.

I'd be grateful for any advise. Many thanks.

Seriously, how can this be an overcharge??

You paid the advertised price for the product, not a penny more.

  • Thanks - the one I really need is the full version that they display in their stores - a precis of which is contained in the first post of this thread. Customer services are saying there is a difference between an overcharge and a mis scan and therefore the policy doesn't apply.

Thanks for getting back to me so quick, I wasn't sure if it was or not as although I didn't pay more than advertised I didn't get the extra points that made up the part of the offer.

it says this on the website...

And if things don't add up
    • In the unlikely event that we overcharge you we will give you your money back and you can keep the product.

it didnt add up..... mis scan or overcharge you were charged more than you should have been

Merely pointing out that mistakes do happen and if you look hard enough then they will be found!
