Thank you! I have just called them and there is a goodwill payment of £275 winging its way to me!!:T0 -
I phoned to ask about our situation since we only just moved away from Halifax having been on the SVR for some time with the specific clause in our offer document.
There was no update on our account that the man could see. He did mention something about a 30 day period during which the goodwill calculation wouldn't apply. So by the sound of it you might need to reduce your expectations by 1 month if you have calculated how much you might be getting from this.0 -
£2290 coming my way woohoo!!! confirmed a chq can be arranged (within a week or so)0

Well it is not often I give praise to the banking industry, but on this occasion the Halifax have excelled themselves which cant be a bad thing considering they are part of Lloyds.
Phoned the Halifax today to make my mortgage payment and was told that there was nothing to pay turns out there had just been a credit of £2,780 made to my mortgage account which relates to the SVR as above so my arrears of £336 plus the payment for March has already been made
There is now a credit of £2,008 which I have asked to be returned via a cheque.
Nice result Well Done Halifax for being so swift0 -
Around £1500 has disappeared from my mortgage balance. That's roughly what I'd worked out. No letter as yet but at least the cash is there!
Good luck to those waiting!0 -
£2000 disappeared from my mortgage balance here as well. No letter or anything though but guess this must be what it's for.0

been watching this thread for a while, but refused to expect to much of a payment until it made to my account.
I fell onto the SVR from the 1st Jan 2009 so covered the largest period possible.
Just had a payment off my mortgage confirmed on the phone as £3640!! :j0 -
Nothing for me as of yet
Losing hope now but we seem to fit the conditions.
Is anyone else still waiting? I wonder if it's being done in batches0 -
