Go on then, has anyone managed to find one @ a quid? I played with the calendar with all sorts of dates and the best was £29, not a single £1 date could I find, and this was from 12.30 on the button.I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!

i emailed them with a bit of the old verbal:
hi, i've trued using your shoddy £1 booking service and, every time i check out,
I keep getting:
CONNECTION STATUS: Unable to submit reservation
Invalid_RateType.
"At first I thought that this was because somebody had booked the room before me,
but no. Three times I went back to the homepage and resubmitted my reservation
through the booking service, each time for the same dates. I was only trying to
book a room for my elderly grandma to come and visit me down in London, but
thanks to your shambles of a booking service it looks like this will never
happen.
thanks you so, so much, Hoxton."
and then they replied with THIS!!!:
I am afraid the message you are getting means that all 1 pound rates are gone
for the requested date. Please try another date or rate plan
Thank you

Sorry to say, but you were on the wrong page.. You had to click the "one pound offer" at the buttom of the page it seems.0 -
i was on from 12.30 and picked several rooms as i opened several pages. every room was available - go through the process of entering all your details to be told it was an inalid room rate - i rang hoxton hotel to ask why as the room was still showing as available - was informed that it takes 5 minutes for the system to refresh and somebody else was obviously booking the same room. Said it was crazy to advertise a room available and to waste time by entering details to be told it isnt available. sent them a snotty email about how disgusted i am and what a shambles it was.
Not even a £29 room available now0 -
I just got my confimation email, so they should start filtering through now, for those who aren't sure if they got a room.
Well done to those who got a £1 bargain, still really chuffed with £290 -
god if mine got through they will cancel cos I booked 20 times ha ha0

yep, I just got my e-mail too. I'm pleased with £29 but that website was truly awful!0
